An important thing to note is artillery weapons have less range shooting uphill and more range shooting downhill, so that whole hill fight goopy was getting more shots off just by merit of having an extra bit of range for his tanks.

Yeah there was about a 15 sec9nd block where only the Armada tanks were shooting

Yes, though he took a long time to start using it to his advantage; kept just bull-rushing down the hill and negating it entirely.

That was a nice move, using the fast Ticks (Fleas) to go around the tank battle and catch the Morties (?) off guard.

Great cast Winter, great game! I think something intresting would be to sometimes see base layouts, how many constructors they have, which energy buildings are they using and the likes

I recommend talking to Gyle Cast who does Supreme commander casts for camera tips since it has similarities to supcom.

That was an amazing game. Hope to see a lot more BAR from you Winter!

It's the most epic RTS sub-genre. Definitely check out Planetary Annihilation too, if you haven't. Orbital layer and multiple planets adds so much!

Loved Total Annihilation back in the day that game was simply epic and spent hours on it, seeing this makes me happy I had no idea it existed until now, especially with Winter casting it. Thanks man.

Now that was a great game for two reasons : first it was very tactical with varied labs and attacks, and second, it went to its natural conclusion, killing the commander. I hate when players just go "gg" once a couple units get near base...

In a 1v1 it's understandable, although I'd at least still give an opponent the satisfaction of crashing my base a bit in the case of a loss. In a team game, early quits and calls of GG are a bit of a plague. Some players have no grit and give up way too easily. I'm assuming that a lot of the newer players are used to different RTS that play in shorter rounds and where plucky comebacks aren't as possible.

I feel like the honorable equivalent of a quick GG here has got to be a suicide charge into the enemy army with your commander, right? Similarly not dragging the game out but with more satisfying explosions?

Honestly your experience from starcraft maks you damn entertaining at casting and you albo catch on to rules/meta so well that I can not only waste my time playing the game but albo get to watch you explore it with me

Goopy really taking a long time to use the hill's extra Range to his advantage. Keeps charging in when he could just slowly advance, getting free shots. 16:08: THE BRUTALITY! Can we talk about how ridiculously long they take to claim those double-output MEX-sites on the mountains? Goopy NEVER claimed his, even after making air... wth?

Goopy mastered that hill. Randy failed exploiting the south. Goopy did a hella good job messing up with randys head :)

Camera work is good,i use the same as you so i can pan down ect but still getting stuck sometimes,great vid enjoy watching your narrations but much prefer your live plays with you playing.

There's always options. He may have invested more into Scuttles (bomb bots) to whack out those Bulls. He may have also brought more Shurikens to paralyze Bulls and exploit the Sheldons he already had to finish them off. Overall it seemed blue player simply tapered off on the Building Power - he might have been able to overwhelm Bulls with sheer numbers of Sheldons otherwise because of how much cheaper those are. Sumo's was a bad choice, because they're more suited against bots and low-end defenses (much like Centurions), but do not pack the grit to endure tanks.

I feel like if Randy had gone T2 vehicle factory instead of bots it would have worked out better. Or at least a couple mammoths instead of sumos.

It's more about the complexity of supporting the stuff necessary for replay seeking given the way the engine has evolved over time. Recoil (the engine BAR uses) is moving forward with many challenging improvements and while we know being able to seek on replays is pretty huge we have to balance everything out.

Blitz and bulls baby :D Goopy does exactly what I do but much better.

A first person commander mode could be amusing.

It was there, but they took it out because of problems. Big sad for me. You could jump into any unit. Imagine a big artillery gun and you shoot it at will. Good times.

I really like this game. But I suck so hard at it.

On tip for team games is to never make metal storages unless you're reclaiming a t2 fac and switching, overflowing isn't a bad thing, having a full bar of metal is. If you don't have enough BP to make units, you should probably give it away to those who can. Often dumping metal to the highest rated players if they are metal stalling can be the best move if you have a lot of metal and no way to spend it quickly.

True. Although they can also become relevant/necessary later on on long protracted games when T3 units start getting traded against each other. (although most games don't quite reach that point.)

Its debatable. Personally I feel like you should get a single metal storage just to save up a portion of metal cost of the T2 factory and to not stall while building it. If you don't have one then even if you have a full metal bar you'd only be able to make it happen without stalling if you actively salvage from some battlefield. You can always give metal manually instantly to any player you deem worthy, which is usually more effective than splitting your excess between everyone in your team via overflow.

I think it would be nice if you would advertise this channel more.

This Game is good, but the Development and Management Team is so annoying, unfriendly and sorry stupid. They suspend your account with no Reason. Beyond all Reason. If you Login on the same computer from different accounts, like me and my friend, you get banned and if you open a ticket they dont help you. My friend played the game on my computer, then i want to play on my computer with a new account and they supsend both accounts 1000 Years. Thery are paranoid. The name of game should be. "Accouts supsended Beyond all Reason". I tried to solve the problem in a Ticket, but they still think we are on Person. Imagine you just want to play a game and they blame you and your friend you are one person. DONT SUPPORT THIS SHIT !!!
