Also the screamer jon left the band for this album and then came back on DBM2 and sounds way better from then on.

Will Swan (guitarist) did the screams for this album in Jon's absence. He also did the rap section in Powder To The People

This is my favorite DGD album, i have so many memories of listening to this at work and just grooving while working, I love it

Carl Barker is an absolute banger.

This one is definitely my personal favourite. The push into funk/psych/jazz stuff on here just tickles me perfectly.

This album was what got me hooked to DGD. Especially Strawberry Swisher pt. 2!

So I have been watching you react to DGD all day today, long day at work, and any excuse to listen to DGD. This album has a very clean and upbeat sound to it… looking forward to to experience the rest they have to offer.

Not sure if you have (bc I see royal coda reactions) but definitely need to check out the two A Lot Like Birds albums Kurt sang on after leaving DGD here. They are “Conversation Piece” and “No Place”. Both albums are fantastic and you won’t regret it

This is such a fun album to listen to, DGD really groove it up on Happiness. My faves are Tree Village, Nasa, and of course Carl Barker. DBM2 is the next album and is one of their top releases, looking forward to checking out your reaction to that one. When you get to Acceptance Speech, i highly recommend listening to the 2.0 release instead of the original. The mix is way better with the new clean vocalist, Tilian, and the drums sounding so much better on the 2.0 version.
