I have the exact same boat from the exact same shop. My tips are to kove your seat back further away from the strap tighteners. You can then get decent back support. To dry it out properly you need to take the bottom out and take the inner of that out and hang em on a line. We've had some great trips Lyn Padarn, Thirlmere, Buttermere, we go all the time to the river at Otley. Best was put wild camp on St Herbert's island though. Buy a load of dry bags for transporting kit. HAVE FUN!

Great to see you venture onto water Liam!! Top stuff mate. Haha not a cat in hell's chance hahaha! Not heard that in ages. You'll have plenty of memories in her buddy I'm sure because it opens up so many other areas to venture to and explore. As you've seen, I own the raiding machine Ragnar, she's a 17ft royalex Mad River Canoe. She's 22 yrs old and was a rescue from a back garden in Nottingham. She's had many adventures, help raise 16k for the Alzheimer's Society, just an all round beast!! Haha! I look forward to seeing what you get up to pal

Great purchase, want one, have a paddle board but the kids take over when ever it comes out so might have to get one of these to go with it! Great fun to watch. Can’t wait to see you out camping with it. 🛶🏕️

Can't wait to see you going on an adventure with this mate 😊 I bought an inflatable kayak/canoe/boat many years ago and had some great times along the river 😊 top tip..... tie fishing line through the ring pull of a can of drink/beer and tow it behind the kayak, nice cool drink on a hot day 👍 enjoy it mate, God bless you Liam 😊🙏🙏

You can now take your boat on ladybower reservoir for a splash. Not been myself yet, but it's on the cards for later in the year. Get some lomo dry bags...cheap as chips and bulletproof!! Keep safe pal, cheers.

There’s a great island in the middle of Derwent water, good for camping???

Use the pump to suck the leftover air out by putting the pipe on the opposite side of the pump handle it then will suck not blow you can also buy a ring with two wheels on that you put one end on so you can pull it along on your own

Get yourself down to Brighouse and join the Calder & Hebble navigation. Take the canal up through Todmorden and camp on the summit of the Rochdale canal. Paddle down through Manchester to wigan and return via the Leeds Liverpool canal to Shipley. You don't even need to go through the locks it would take a minute to portage that kayak past them. Nice channel btw I've been subbed since your Ben Nevis video.

I’m a kayaker and have to warn you this is just a gateway drug. You’ll have a roof rack with a 16 foot sea kayak within the year fella! Lots of hatches for your gear and you’ll be out on the high seas.

@GoodBlokeOutdoors yes it does mate, it's just works like a car tyre one, but it's digital, you set the psi and just press the button and it does it, it's also cordless and rechargeable, and it deflates it as well gets all the air out 👍

As a open canoeist I can't even begin to say the word KA$%K, without sounding like I'm just about to hock a loogie 🤣🤣My canoe car sticker say's it all really "Anyone can do that with 2 paddles" 🤣🤣 PFD'S for all afloat every time, regardless of how good they can swim. This should be some good content, stay safe, have fun.

Yeah from what i’ve seen canoes all day long out of preference but never used either before so thought id start out with the cheapest and most portable!

A word of caution if i may ? I'd like to share my Kayak disaster story with you - i was freezing cold in the kayak some distance from the shore and i had installed a heater in the front to keep my knees from becoming hypothermic as they were beginning to look like a tub of blueberrie ice cream when disaster struck - the heater tipped over.The Kayak caught fire and swiftly sank.Fortunately the local coastguard helicopter was on a training exercise nearby and came to my rescue.I had been in the water for some time and the coastguard medic said that my hands resembled pickled walnuts - which i thought was quite a compliment.....and the moral of the story is ?.....You can't have your Kayak and heat it ! That's one for the Bradford Bushcraft Society.
