Yo try to talk to Corey if you can and tell him to look into Vans skatepark Orlando. Its been abandoned since 2018. It has a 40ft wide 12 ft tall vert ramp and a 20,000 sqft skate section. I dont have any connections but from the looks of it im sure you guys can find someone that knows a guys who also knows a guy lol.

Buy a bunch of palettes, just a bunch of palettes, disassemble them, and then what you do is you build a base out of the pallets and then you take parts of the wood and you put them under a what you want to make the ramp so you don't fall through. And you lay them side by side, and you put them in an, and you put them at an angle.

Don't be down corey... this was the RIGHT OPTION 😊

The ramps were probably built with nails for the same reason a house is build with nails. Nail bend with impact and settling, which is what you want. If it were built with screws, under enough pressure and/or impact the screws would break.

You have to do a Merch drop with another golden ticket, I’m going to keep saying I have to come here till I get the opportunity 😂

@funk bros My local in Florida is shutting down. Ramp 48, it's indoor too so everything is intact. Best thing is it hasn't shut down yet this September is the last month so you still have time to contact the owner

Cory if I were you, I would ask the owner of the skatepark if it would be ok to figure out pricing for the materials of the skatepark after they dismantle it. This is because you don't know how much would be able to be reused for your plans of building a skatepark. You can also ask them if it would be ok for you to select what materials you might want to buy from them once they've disassembled it. (this would be more fair for you because it is unclear how much of the resources will be good to use). I hope it works out because it seems like a good deal if they can salvage it. Good luck bro.👍👌

I helped build a skatepark when I was younger and I burst into tears finding out that it was demolished a few years ago. I had no idea since we've moved to a completely different state. So my heart goes out to whoever grew up and skated there

A long time ago I bought a skate called “Section 8” had it shipped from Ohio to Maryland. Buying the skate park was absolutely the worst investment I’ve ever done in my life, but absolutely the most fun I’ve had at the same time. All said and done for me to get the ramps to my location and finish the build out we spent well over $250,000.

I grew up skating this park i remember one time Birdhouse came and did a promo the whole team tony hawk included such a great park Originally called Plan Nine Then a old skate shop owner named don owned future skate had bought it and turned it into earth surf from my knowledge

i completely forgot about how you got ripped off on that waterslide

All construction still uses nails lol. Framing is almost always nailed together.

Honestly good decision not buying it considering you want it outside you probably are gonna want to build it out of concrete unless you are going to have some sort of roofing over it so the wood doesn’t get ruined
