Every reactor I have ever seen react to Nightwish, quickly falls in love! I can't wait for you to do more! As for Floor's height, here is a quote from the Metal Goddess herself: "I am just over six feet tall, and while I am not a giant, I don't really fit into regular clothing," she said. "For the stage, I need to have entire outfits made specifically for me so I can be sure that everything is, shall we say, sitting in the right place. It's expensive - but very important."

If we haven't told you already, every Nightwish song is different. Different styles, different singers, but all awesome. Tuomas (keyboards and primary songwriter/composer) likes themes of stories and childhood innocence. He is also a fan of composer Hans Zimmer, and Disney. I think the easier question would be, What styles can Floor NOT sing? The answer, I don't think there are any. I'm sure she could pull off any style she tries. She can also sing in , I think, 8 different languages. Yes, Floor is just over 6' (plus heels). She looks even taller when next to Emppu (guitar), who is 5'3". Next? Try Romanticide from Wacken.

She can do it all , thats why they grabbed her when she was available.....she can do the operatic vocals like tarja , do annettes pop style . Great Reaction 👍 Yea shes 6'1 and she works out.

I've never seen Floor saying she works out, and there isn't a single photo or video of her doing so. Explanation? Genetics, hard work on the farm these days.

@@alanfoster6589 she posted a video on Floorworld while she was in a gym , talked about how important is too her especially during touring ......also asked everyone if they go too the gym and whats your routine .....i also saw her in another interview, saying how she works out alone because nobody in the band works out .

The song was written for the second singer who was a pop singer. That's how Floor sings it too. The end is originally a chorus because Anette doesn't have an operatic voice. With Floor you only hear Them softly in the background because she sings the part herself. One of the many small changes that Floor made. She adapted the songs to her voice.

Floor Jason is about 6'1".... She has sister who is about the same height...and just as beautiful! Oh...that Nightwish "Army" was 82,000 strong at Wacken! I discovered Nightwish 3 years ago, and I am now a Member of The Nightwish Army, Texas Regiment! I can't go a day without listening to Nightwish... They make happy, cry, every type of emotion! They are just that good! The list from Gabriel is where I stated...and it's a great introduction to Nightwish! "Storytime" and "Ever Dream" are two of my favorites, along with their CD " Endless Forms Most Beautiful"...just an incredible album! The more I listen to this band, the more I want to listen to them all day long!

They are a great live band, and every crowd reacts differently. I was amazed at how a South-American crowd sang along with a guitar solo ;-) And the drums are so tight... great rhythms and variations

The addiction is real, that's for sure. Nightwish is the cream of the crop and their LIVE performances are always outstanding. Do enjoy to the fullest your every first time watching a performance. Great reaction. Cheers. 🥂

Floor Janson (Yan-Sen) has unbelievable range, this would be my 2nd favorite track, and Floor can Windmill her hair like a MoFo(With the greatest respect) lol. It’s an easy addiction to acquire. They have a variety of sound, all well done, all epic. Floor can sing anything and do it perfectly. She is over 6 feet tall, withOUT heels. Maybe check out their heavier side with Romanticide from this same show. Enjoy the journey. It’s one worth taking!

This is our Valkyrie Goddess for you, and yes she is 6'1''. And you witnessed first hand a "Dutch Windmill" , and to finish you off, The Operatic "Cruise Missile" !!!! Floor has 3 distinct styles. Head banging(straight forward, then back), hair whip(almost like cracking a bull whip) and the Windmill(continuous 360 degree revolutions). Why Windmill? Well she is Dutch. Well,...you said that that crowd looks like an army ,.....Nightwish fan base is called " Nightwish Army " 😉. Awesome tune , although it is kind of a popish sound (originally sung by Anette, the second singer of Nightwish), but Floor gave it soooo much POWER !!! Nightwish lyrics are often a bit interpretive, and not as "straight forward" as many other bands, because Tuomas ( The Metal Mozart Tuomas Holopainen: founder, leader, keyboardist, songwriter and the main composer for Nightwish.) prefers people to put their own interpretations and life experiences into the lyrics. you connect with songs on a personal level when there is something there that relates to things you have gone/are going through, and you may even find new connections later on in life when you have gone through other big events/emotions. there might be songs you are quite indifferent about (oh, nice song) and then you go through something big and all of a sudden it makes you break down in tears because now you relate to something in the lyrics you didn't before, and see it from a whole new perspective. imagination and life experiences are powerful, and Tuomas has great appreciation of this. Greg, this band is around for a long time. Floor came to the band in 2012 ad it seems, she is the ideal singer. This concert was definitly a highlight. But there are so many others. Marco, the bass, can sing too. YES sing, sure he growls sometimes but he is a very good singer too. WARNING their hardest song is "yours is an empty hope" best version Wembley 2015. The growls you hear there, are not from an angry bear, it is Floor. Floor has her own channel, go visit it, you will find phantastic songs there too. Stay safe, man, be happy, enjoy life. To quote Henk Poort, classical Singer: Good Music is good Music- Period. No matter the Genre. Sure its Rock, some Metal, more accessible this Tune, but the Nightwish Soul is in There. A Story driven Narrative, performed by an absolute pro Band, that is tied and tight for Decades, garnered with an outstanding Singer. If you ever get to watch the full Concert( nearly every month anyone streams it on Discord just 4Fun, and always some dozen Metalheads come in), take an Look at the Endcredits: its not only the Band, they Honor up all the Individuums in the Crew, without all of that wouldnt simply happen, down to the shoeshineboy. They know, that NW is an big Group of hard working ppl, all loving to see the crowds be hyped. I for me concluded long ago, that this Passion for bringing that Emotions on the Stage is the Difference from other Bands , that makes them Special , at least for me. Btw.... this melody is from a "musical/movie", IMAGINAERIUM that you can see / listen too; on KZread for free... if you like to. (But perhaps wait, until the end of your Nightwish journey..?!) It's based on a recurring dream, that Tuomas has had, all his life. A very beautiful movie/theater production ❤️ But the melodies are all a bit "simple", so that all human ears can enjoy the music. They hooked me too Greg! Welcome to the amazing music of Nightwish. Floor is absolutely 6'1"! Their guitarist, Empuu is only about 5'3" so it makes her look that much taller! She lovingly calls him her hobbit! Tuomas is on keys, and he composes most of their music. They all have input though. There are so many great songs! Tuomas writes music he wants to write, so their songs aren't the radio standard. Most are a good bit longer than what you hear on the radio, no matter the genre. It was so awesome to see that big smile on your face! They do it to me too. The best and tightest live band I've ever seen. They've been around since 1996. I'm quite mad I only discovered them about 7 or 8 months ago. They quickly became my favorite. Next you could go to Romanticide, or Song Of Myself both live from Wacken, same concert. Song Of Myself is one of my favorites. You won't go wrong no matter what you choose next - Ive not heard a bad song from them yet! You can follow Gabriel's list, or jump around. Just make a note of this....when you do a song called Yours Is An Empty Hope, make sure to choose the version live from Wembley. The audio mix on vocals is far better and you can better hear what everyone is doing in that one. You'll never go wrong with audio mix from Wacken 2013, Wembley, Buenos Aires, and Tampere. I saw them live in front 70.000 people 2 wks back at the Pinkpop inferno. It was hot enough to fry an egg on the hood of a car, but they killed it.🤘🏽

I am in the Nightwish Army since Years..with a break.. Its Opera and Metal Rock making an Angel..thats Floor Jansen. Unfortunatly Marko Hietala and The great Drummer are not in the band anymore. We will miss them. Listen to Phantom of the Opera.Or other Songs. They are fantastic.

According to herself, Floor's almost exactly 6 feet (183 cm). She's a little bit sensitive about the subject, as she was bullied for her height as a kid. Speaking as a Swede, women from northern Europe tend to be comparably tall and last time I checked Dutch women were considered the tallest in the world.
