King Slime does, in fact, randomly spawn. More specifically, he rarely spawns on grass in the outer fifths of the world at day.

@@user-gj4jh4jm9c no its not, the grilled squirrel gave him the well fed buff, and he ate it on a different frame than when king slime spawned, and the cooldown for the king slime spawner is higher (hence why you hold the spawner up for about a second when you use it)

nurse and gunseller will always get you any pylon you need he loves her THAT much.

The only biome they don’t give you a pylon in is the Snow biome funnily enough, since the arms dealer doesn’t like it. It’s practically impossible to get that pylon

King Slime has a very small chance to spawn randomly when you're at the outer edges of the world, similarly to the Goblin Scout. It used to be a pretty well-known method to summon him by running around the Ocean holding a Water Candle.

It's actually one of those "good ole'" Terraria relics of a highly specific time frame when King Slime was added but the summoning item wasn't. This used to be the only way he could spawn. Again, HIGHLY specific time frame between updates.

I remember Stampy's playthrough involving the King Slime. I'm surprised Throarbin hadn't heard of it too.

Huge tip if you really wanna take the game as slow as possible, don’t break an alter in hardmode. That triggers the pirate invasions. Instead, you should try to fish for all ores

King slime spawning is a pretty rare occurance. I had it the last playthrough I played and apparently, according to the wiki, king slime can spawn randomly in the outer sixth of the map if the player is in a grasslands. This makes it incredibly rare as you need a grasslands at the edge of the map.

You missed Pearlsand at the edge of the desert

to fix your tundra pylon problems: put the Arm's Dealer and Nurse together and the tundra pylon should be sold also King Slime can spawn on the outer side's of a terraria world so the grilled squirrel did nothing but still insane timing

IDK if its sold since arms dealer hates the tundra. I know painter + dryad will have the painter sell the tundra pylon.

one of my favorite ways to make queen bee ridiculously easy is by getting the bezoar to drop, being immune to the bees poison effect makes such a big difference

the fact that king slime spawned when u ate a grilled squirrel makes his random spawn so funny😂😂😂

Nurse and Gunslinger for ANY pylon, then just move npcs around until you have a full system. Can even have slimes/dogs/cats take the place of a normal npc, ALSO king slime has a random chance to spawn in the outer sixths of each side of the world when on Grass.

King Slime can randomly spawn on the outer thirds of the world.

I remember back when the king slime used to only drop vanity. Those were the days.

That intros you have just said, getting stuff equipments and full HP is really spot on my man. Early game is indeed the suckiest part of all HC terraria runs i ever made because most of times i: Die to a trap. Die to an enemy the like of sand worms or antlion. Or Die to an event like Goblin Army and Bloodmoon. God helps you if the first night was a bloodmoon or next day is slime rain. But once we get rolling and getting stuff like slime mount and shield, going into Skeletron and even WoF is a cinch - except that we need to spend several minutes to make the arena for the wall. And the rest is just a repeat with a heavier emphasis of dying to a creature and events (Pirate, HM Goblin, and HM Bloodmoon) more often than trap in Hardmode. Edit: Oh also god help you too if the first day of HM hits is a pirate events just as you went out of the underworld post wall. Thats why epic mega base is a must in pre HM for all these kind of nonsense.

Since you have so much time in between phases so I hope you try n explore more of the shimmer. NPCs get new design after being submerged in shimmer so that might be a fun start. Also, it's possible to make walls that allow spawn using walls dunked in shimmer, most notable one is shimmered walls made from dungeon brick. Just place shimmered walls on the edge of the screen and on the place you'll be standing on. You now have dungeon spawn outside the dungeon

Looking at your torchgod layout was painful. Put them all in the center!

Personally, I like to not break any shadow orbs/ crimson hearts in my world and only use battle standard to summon the goblin army so I never get caught at a bad moment having to fight an army. This also prevents pirate invasions which can be an ended to a hardcore run if you get unlucky.

Finding ways to entertain myself.. As a new player that hopped head first into master mode for the first time i can confidently say with 28 hours on one character and two bosses defeated, it is much easier to find ways to entertain yourself when you are a new player. Congrats on finding something to do in your 10 hours! Because all i was doing was just exploring and learning

In the snow biome, you can make houses right beneath the surface and make goblin tinkerer and dye trader to move in to make the goblin as happy as possible (in pre-Skeletron). It will also make the mechanic happier once she moves in

I ususally just get all the pylons by putting the arms dealer with the nurse and moving them around. They're love of each other seems to beat then not liking where they are.

14:46 i have a tip if your have a ,,Deapth Meter" you can see if you go deper than zero you are in underground that means dungeon guardian will spawn

So for every biome except snow you can use arms dealer and the nurse. For snow you can make a temporary underground snow setup and use goblin and mechanic then relocate the snow pylon to an above ground town

Awesome vid but band of regen is better then shark tooth necklace, the dmg you get from the necklace is barely noticeable compared to the health regen from the band

Grilled squirrels have a .01 percent chance to spawn king slime (doesnt say in the current wiki tho, only a few years ago before it was removed) its some sort of commemoration of some sort, i don't know exactly as it was a long time ago

Maybe, if you get enough luck, you can chance upon a reason to not go face-to-face with the dungeon guardian every run

Imagine if you get another double meteorite just like the 1 year world lol

You should put the Goblin tinkerer underground/cavern/underworld as those are the only biomes he likes, after defeating skeletron put the mechanic with him and also put the dye trader with him, and that should give you the best possible prices for the goblin tinkerer. if you want cheap prices for the mechanic then move the mechanic and goblin tinkerer (and cyborg if you have him) in to the snow biome and that should be the cheapest prices for her

the og way of summoning king slime is by waiting at the end of the world

Space gun with space suit breaks old one army. Be sure to farm it you get tier two gear after 1 mech killed "cough" (destroyer)" cough" and have the best defense and health Regen.

For some reason killing slimes (or slimes dying) while you're on the out thirds of the world (for some reason) have a chance to spawn King Slime.

Hmm, I don't get why people still try to buy from any NPCs (other than travelers) right after finding them; nowadays, they have Happiness modifier debuffs if they don't have a home established, especially if in a biome they dislike. Sure the Tinkerer likes underground, but I'm pretty sure his prices are still high until he gets into a home, right? Correct me if I'm wrong, of course. But in some other cases (like the electrician) it's especially bad cuz the depths of the castle have her traumatized, thus her prices are way up until she's outta there, IIRC. (But yeah, avoiding overcrowding the homes & getting the Tinkerer into an underground/cavern abode brings his prices down nicely.)

King slime can spawn naturally in the outer 1/6th of the world im pretty sure with a 1% chance so you had the worlds most amazing timing coming from terraria no bug I think.

He can also rarely appear in the outer lateral sixths of the world completely by himself. As with all enemies that can spawn naturally, King Slime has a better chance of spawning while standing near a placed Water Candle or while under the effects of a Battle Potion. ty wiki.

I think you can get every pylon from the arms dealer with the nurse.

You can get the tundra pyllon with the goblin tinkerer and the dye trader

Hello! Once again, well you are my favorite terraria youtuber. (many say that you are theirs favorute youtuber but they want attention.) please tell me, why cant i defeat bosses? Why cant i make npc houses? How to make npc houses? There are alot of questions. First of all, i get the background walls for the npcs. Then i make a light source (torches) i make a table and a chair. Npcs do. Not. Move. In why is that?

There is a way to check. Above your armor there's a little house button. Click on that and then click on the house you have. It should give you an idea as to what's wrong

Torch God is easier if all the torches are in a small square rather than spread out.

You should store crates and open them in hardmode so you can get the ore.

Why dont you try out fishing in honey? The "honey fin" is the best pre hardmode healing item, it restores 120 hp while regular healing potions only restore 100 hp.

There is a restoration potion, which heals 90 hp and has 45 sec cooldown, it is much better.

dirt bombs work against the old ones army so cover up the crystal AFTER THE ROUND BEGINS NOT BEFORE

grilled squirel don't spawned king slime lol the game sometimes randomly decides to spawn slime king when your near the ocean it happende to me like 2 times

- Yeah, every buggy thing that happens with zapinator is intended. In some cases, the 'glitches' that trigger, can even stack up to actually shoot the enemies from the other side of the screen. So a glitch-chain of: spawn new bolt, enemy ricochet, slow bolt, ricochet, fast fast bolt, ricochet, HEAVY knockback (in a matter of frames)... can not only knock an enemy back into you, but can do it from clear across the screen if you're not careful. - Don't worry. You're not going as crazy as you think you are. If you're on the outer ends of the world, King Slime can totally spawn in. If you are far enough out to see goblin scouts, you're far enough out for him to spawn on in. It's rare, but if you play the Undeluxe version (early Terraria) that was the only way to spawn him in once upon a time.

Yeah, I kept messing with settings and eventually found out it was OBS's noise cancelling that was causing the problem. It's been fixed but I forget at which video that change was made
