I love the pace of your videos! You don't rush, trying to show everything. Rather, you leisurely pan as if I, the viewer, was there doing the looking. Thank you for taking me along!
I love the way you show and tell us about even the things you don't buy. You are a great educator. I really appreciate your beautiful decorating style,it inspires me. Your inclusion of features of the local towns is great too. I look through the shelves as you pan by to see what jumps out at me and I love seeing the landscape of your country . Linda
My grandpa had one of those kangaroos on his bedside table! Kept his wallet in the side and his Mickey Mouse watch in the pouch. When he passed, my uncle took the Kangaroo. So my mom bought me my own! It’s been on my bedside since and holds my rings and phone at night!

You’ve inspired me. While garage saling this past weekend I spotted an amazing tooled leather purse for only $5!!! I love your narration, it’s engaging to listen to.

Great find!! 🙌 $5!
I'm old (!) & have lived through the corduroy fad several times. I love corduroy, especially when it's old and soft.
That piece of industrial looking wood used to be a planer, I think. It would have had a metal piece that fit into the slot. A carpenter would run it back and forth over a piece of wood to take the bumps out and level the top.

Yes I can confirm that it's a planer! It's missing its blade. (My dad collects old tools and particularly planners)
The bedspread is a suzani from around Afghanistan and Uzbekistan area of the world. Cost a fortune to buy one here in Adelaide, South Australia

I am enjoying how you narrate the videos, and the music is very appropriate. The finds you picked up this week are lovely. The bed blanket is just gorgeous. I actually gasped when you opened it up. What a great find!

I am 65 and have just discovered thethrifting and reselling. I can walk around or stand much to go through the stores, so I have been haunting online auction sites for good deals.

That red hat on you is so adorable! 🥺❤️
I have one of those kangaroos next to my bed. I hang rings on his ears and his tail and drop change or my necklace in the pouch in the front and the back slot is supposed to be for a wallet but I use it for my remotes. My husband has one on his side of the bed as well. I love them!
In Swedish there is a saying: there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing ;-)
We still use billows because we have a wood burning fireplace and we aren't ever converting it to electric or gas. A real fire is just so cozy and romantic.

We enjoy our fireplace. There's nothing like a warm cozy fire on a cold winter day.
Laura!! You are just amazing! You have seriously inspired me in so many ways! I live in MN and the winter blues is real! You have helped me in so many ways , I watch your channel daily , loving all the beauty of places you go!! I am always so excited for your videos !!! Especially the new videos❤️! I just love the flow of your videos , how you make us feel there with you, how slow you go , so we can see the beautiful pieces , how you style and decorate and the music and all! You are just amazing! 😉❤️I am seriously wanting to get into vintage reselling! You are teaching me so much!❤️Thank you!!!!! Thank you!!!!
That bedspread looks as if it were made just for you! BEAUTIFUL!
My dad had one of those kangaroos on his dresser as long as I can remember..just like the one you picked up. He put his wallet in the side opening, hung his watch on the tail and put his pocket change in the pouch every day he got home from work. I was born in the early 50's 😁. Every time I see one, I think of him 💓
Really like the black and white vase, and leather purse 👌oh, and the painting, too. Good job, Laura.
The kangaroos are dresser caddies. Made famous in Pulp Fiction. I sold one recently!

The bedspread is gorgeous and I really liked that grasshopper picture too!
I'm so glad you're doing your own thing! So refreshing!!!!!!
That black and floral bedspread is sooo gorgeous!! 🖤🌷🖤
I had an uncle that made tooled leather purses and belts. I did not have an appreciation when he made them in the 70’s but now... I wish I had one.

I also had an Uncle who made them. He gifted me a personalized belt and I didn't appreciate the workmanship at the time. Big regret.

I think you have to get older to appreciate what is now considered vintage. I had a shoe cobbler make me a pair of leather sandles when I was a teenager, I'm 80 now. I wore those things out, even had them repaired a few times. I wish I had had him to make two pair. Even back then they were pricey.
I love how you are embracing color. The bedspread is absolutely gorgeous, and I am loving that I learn something every time you put out a new video...My bank account not so much. 😁 You have started so many new collections for me! Great video
The kangaroo is a watch, wallet and change holder! My Grandfather had one and used it! I bought one and then I was given my Grandfather's actual one by my Mother! They are really special to me!
Love the music - and that 3D metal scupture!
I look forward for your video every week. Love everything that you find. You have great taste. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
Laura, I have to tell you...your channel has become one of my top 5 to watch! I have a vintage corduroy hat that I found at the GW outlet. I get compliments every time I wear it. I have it packed to go to Florida on vacation with me this weekend.
I don't know if anyone told you yet but that is a hand-embroidered Suzanne from Uzbekistan. You got one hell of a good deal on that!! Congratulations!! I used to deal with all kinds of old textiles from around the world. Ran my own import store in Bandon, OR. for a decade.
I got a leathered tooled purse for 3.00! I bought it because my mom used to carry one.
That bedspread is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! GORGEOUS! Another great video! Thanks for sharing the fun!🙏❤️

It’s the perfect pop of color I was hoping for 😍
I love the way you style with mid-century modern decor! I grew up in the 60’s, but didn’t appreciate that style until recently. Maybe nostalgia is getting the best of me in my “old age”! LOL! Thanks for taking us shopping!
I have that same “pineapple caddy” and instead of food I use it as a jewelry caddy. Great video and your music always reminds me of a “peanuts cartoon” love it!
You’re such a jolly positive radiant person! I love watching your videos:)
"blows air on fire" called: Bellows. and yes, we have wood heat so we still use them and some are SUPER valuable!!!
You are such an inspiration to me. I had given up on my resale business because of soooo so much competition in my area but watching you has jazzed me up enough to try try again. Thank you so much for your awesomely positive and happy attitude.

I’m so happy to hear that you’re back to it! It’s sooo competitive here in Portland too so I get it. Takes away from some of the fun of it but I’ve found going to thrift stores and less estate sales helps keep it light hearted and fun! It got so depressing seeing people push and shove at estate sales 😞 ❤️
Your channel has become my absolute favorite….. I’m so glad I found you, you bring me JOY
I think Laura if you realy like an item ,weather it’s new or old ,just get it xx

That bedspread is amazing! The small painting is so nice
I love your test of vintage
Yes so ready this was a great surprise👍 I missed my Laura ❤️😍😘awesome finds as always
I don’t see how quarter I could ever make a comeback, because corduroy will never go away! I will not allow it. Corduroy 4 EVER!
I lived in Kalama for 15 years! Loved it... Now we are in Longview. Lots of Great shops... And did I mention there is a GW. Have fun!!!
I loved going along vintage shopping with you, great finds. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.
I came across a kangaroo last night when I visited my favorite antique store. She was only asking seven dollars for it. Probably going to go back for it because the idea of using it for a phone sounds pretty cool. Thanks for introducing me to something new and fun...😎
So many good finds! I know what that old wooden thing was I think!- an antique planer (plainer?) (that thing that makes wood boards flat) There would be a metal piece that fits in there to shave down your board and the wood part is a guide. I only know this bc my dad is a woodworker and he has some antique ones decorating his shop from my great grandpa ;)

I love when you take us with you to antique shops. You really scored with the soon to be bedspread. I’m glad you showed us the adorable clay animals. I bought a male lion from that artist at Goodwill about 5 mths ago. Maybe I need to start a critter collection now.
Gotta catch your next sale; your items always talk to me! That bedspread is a work of art! 🤩
The painting matches every color I have in my bedroom. So pretty.
Loved it all. You find the best stuff.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🐼 Big Bear Hugs from a 67 yr old grandma in Kirby, Texas, USA 🐼
You have thrifted some amazing peices I must say. The one thing that is my absolute favorite is the framed wooden horse. That horse just does it for me. I'm always glad when you show it in your introduction. Keep doing you!
I ALWAYS LIKE EVERYTHING YOU BUY OR THAT YOU SHOW US THE BED SPREAD IS BEAUTIFUL 🥰🦋🦋🦋🌻🌻🌻🐝
I paused the video to comment this. I absolutely LOVE that dark blue paint with the other colors there and yeah that was absolutely gorgeous and if I ever get the chance to repaint my room I may have found my inspo! paused again to add, my 14 year old niece LOVES corduroy
What a lovely town to shop in! Those were treasure trove stores❤ I love a unique handmade bed cover!! That's going to look fabulous on your bed. I'm still enamored with your wooden hand chairs!!!!
Love the tooled leather bag, great find with the material for a bedspread, you can't even buy plain material for that!!!! You have the best places to go thrifting. Corduroy is definitely going to come back, if you keep anything long enough it comes back in style!!!, your BFF "Pam the hand "🤚
Not only is it fun to shop along with you ~I love to see how you put together your outfit and accessorize. ❤️ That you share things about the places you are visiting too.
The ceramic "Fox" is a pipe and tobacco pouch holder. My dad had one.
The electrical flat appliance reminds me of one my mother inherited from the previous owner of the house we had when I was little (70 years ago!). My mother used it for grilled cheese sandwiches...the best I ever eaten!!!

That weird "picasso" vase would look cool with a black feather in it.
Greaaaat to see you back Laura, missed you girl😉thanks for the wonderful vlog there my favorite an your amazing to watch, stay safe N well, 💯❤️❤️❤️
The old, weathered block of wood you picked up is the wood part of a vintage carpenter’s wood plane. It was missing the steel blade.
Yayyy! Love shopping! ☺️❤️
A new video 🤗 I feel like I am riding right along with you Laura. All the furnishings and tooled leather purse are a kaleidoscope of memories of my childhood. Thank you for taking us along, that bed spread is so you. Safe travels Laura, can’t wait until the next video.
Such fun. Thanks Laura.
Thumbs up if you watch her vids more then once!
Hi Laura, It's so nice of you to include more than one store on your vids. You are lucky you don't live in New England, for weather changing . You have enough for us to drool over...Thanks from Boston
Absolutely LOVE that quilt!! 🥰🥰
Hi Laura! Yes, that table & chairs set a very sixties/seventies! I used to have one similar to that! 🥰😊💕
Always lovely shopping along with you. I love that little painting - such great finds!
I had a deep, rich brown corduroy suit in 1970. Bell bottom hip hugging pants with a fitted jacket. Wore it with a white lacy crop top.It was cool then and would be again.
Love your videos, wish there was more. Look forward watching them every week.
I just said that yesterday. I am always right about fashion comebacks SCORE on that bedspread!
The gravel painting of the siamese cat was great as well
You do the best videos! ❤️
All the Woodland Creatures in the glass hutch✨👏🏻✨ lovely video🥰
As always, such wonderful finds! I love the same things you do so I want it all. And that bedspread is the bomb! Thanks for taking us along! ❤
That painting was to die for! Such a good find!!
Great finds! I love that purse, and I will be adding one to my list to watch out for. I love your videos. Your lunch looked so tasty and seeing the view from the restaurant was a lovely addition. Thanks!
The tail of the kangaroo dresser pc..was for rings or a watch and the plain wooden pc.is a hand plane without a blade,a grate primitive tool…love thrifting with you . ..🌸
Love the king size bedsheet, the color and the embroidery is perfection.
Love watching your videos girl!! I so enjoy your shopping trips, the history behind some of the pieces you buy is so interesting!! You are amazing in your knowledge!!
Corduroy is making a comeback and it is lovely...loved this vlog and tyfs...💕🐣🌸

I have an unpainted white cat identical to the Siamese ones you sold that I picked up in Lockhart, Texas a few years back. Hanging on my wall still!
Super fun video😀. Thanks for taking us shopping; and it’s always fun hanging out with you.
Love you videos Laura! Always so much fun !🐈
HI LAURA, I ENJOYED WATCHING!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!💕💕
Oh boy, shopping with Laura! Perfect on a cold, snowy day! My Dad had one of those kangaroos. He put his pipe in the front “pouch” and his tobacco bag in the opening in the back. Just before you showed the Siamese cat (gravel) I spied a wooden horse behind a pair of red and black (Asian?) horses. Looks like a Norwegian fjord horse (fjordhest) with that arched crest. I would have grabbed that. :-) I rarely see Scandi things where I live. Fun!
Ohhhh how i missed you and your videos!! Glad ur Back ❤ Hope ur settled into ur new place
Enjoy the vintage tour today! Love your videos.
I just cannot believe the numbers of resale shops in the Portland area - just amazing! We have nothing like them here...but we do have farm auctions there we can get furniture for pennies...A few years back I saw an entire 193-'s dining room set, table & chairs $5.00 and a china cabinet $5.00. Thats the only way I could afford to purchase furniture to redo, chalk paint and sell.
