We have a biker gang drinking game watching Freddy Dobbs here in the states. We turn off the volume and based on his non-stop arm waving we calculate how many flies he kills in each of his episodes. Your seats are amazing looking. Never quit Willy, you the hombre!

Pitty that you dont live near me . I would teach you all of the basics and that way you would be able to save a small fortune . I have been a mech for over 40 years and love to teach others to change oil, filters , plugs , brakes and chain and sprockets . Its so simple that all of us should be able to do these things . Love your streams keep them coming Willie. 👍👍👍👍. I am thinking of setting up a youtube blog to teach these basic skills .

Your skills on service the brakes are on par with mine when my mate came to rescue me 🤣 he said you’ve totally fitted them incorrectly and he couldn’t get them out as i used a hammer to fit them 😀🤣🤣 I said it wasn’t me it was my neighbour and I don’t think he knows what he’s doing 🤣 great stuff Willie hope u get your bike sorted

Great vid Willie, your disc looks fine to me. The only discs ive fitted were to my E60 M5 😂. My Dad wasnt overly confident being a passenger when i told him i was responsible for the stopping 😅...

They're not basic things. They're basic for mechanics maybe. When doing mods on my bikes I run into issues all of the time I usually take a night to reflect and go back at it again. Funny enough I was going to tell you to ask The Wurks for help but realized how far away he was from you.

If you're going to be an older and plumper Freddie you need to drop your "Hs" more. Think Professor HIggin's song in the musical version of "Pygmalion" - My Fair Lady, The song is "Why Can't The English". ;-) I very much enjoy your thoughts, those of Sir Freddie of Dobbs, Stuart Fillingham, THe Missenden Flyer and of course, Mr. Darcy and the Ol' Man. Your disc does look to be scored in the central run. You may be able to find an engineering firm who can skim the disc flat again. You will need to remove the wheel. To remove the disc from the wheel, you will find it’s bolted on, and to put it back after skimming, you will need to find out the torque settings for the bolts. You can find the torque settings in your manual if you have one. Otherwise ask a dealer. You can get the dealer to sort it for you but they will probably want to sell you a new disc, unless they are a very good dealer who has a lathe to skim the disc. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO FIT THE PADS BEFORE FIXING THE DISC! Otherwise, the pads will never bed correctly or indeed apply enough pressure to work properly.

Your disk looks fine.. the reason your pads felt too tight is because you need to clean and wire brush your calliper, however the bloke will do that for you when he fits your pads.. Lot of people out there who are unsure about fixing their own bikes, but that's why KZread is a great community for us bikers. Cheers

A brake bleeder only cost a couple of dollars for a plastic one & be handy to have along with the clamp. Also you can get your discs planed if there is a groove in it & save you buying a new disc. Also if have to buy new disc you could buy a better one than the stock one.Looks like you don't need a new disc Willie & looks ok if anything it might need to be planed but looks ok.To get planed you'll have to take it to garage but I would just put new pads in & try it out first cause disc looks ok.Also a good time to change brake fluid as it is less effective over time but be careful Willie it's corrosive & might want someone who has done it before if you're clumsy as you reckon cause don't want brake fluid squirting over tank.When go to squeeze brake pedal to release air bubbles do it gently to prevent brake fluid shooting up & over bike too so don't stomp on brake pedal with your Ronald McDonald feet🤣.

You're not effeminate enough to be Freddie. lol Your discs do look a bit scored where the old brake pads have bitten them a bit but they'll probably be ok unless you've put enough heat in them to warp them. that may explain why they are still rubbing with the old pads back in. I reckon you should take it to a mechanic to have it checked out and the new pads fitted. I'm all for people doing their own maintenance but you don't want to be messing with your brakes.....you might need them lol
