WOW!! This is freaking amazing Kristina!! This just puts a huge smile on my face, I'm so glad for you! I've always been wondering how long you were gonna play TRX, and when Zildjian was gonna hook you up! I guess I don't need to wonder anymore, haha! Congratulations! You deserve this!

Seeing and hearing these cymbals, I had to comment a recommendation (If you don't mind). My suggestion would be to loosen the cymbal nuts a bit to help them sing better. Cymbals tend to last longer when they can be free. :) From this perspective they looked a little tight and it hurts to imagine them breaking. Just a recommendation!! Keep being a frickin' amazing drummer! \m/

Micah Lindley I agree. The only thing that should be tight is (if you own one) a zilbel or a really small oriental China so that they don't sound "wobbly"

Hey no hate at all (and i love your channel actually!), but loosen up your cymbals. as in dont screw them in too tight because they will probably crack faster. Those are amazing cymbals btw!!!

Such small cymbals. I would go: 15" New beat hats, 20" A Medium thin crash, 20" K Crash/ride, 21" K crash/ride brill. & 18" K efx

agree. but 18" k efx isnt a powerfull cymbal at all...maybe A custom efx 20"? My choice would be (and actually is) 15" A custom mastersound hi hats/20" A custom Projection crash/21"K crash ride 21" as a crash/23" A sweet ride and 22" china whatever you could find (A china boy high 22" is really cool and not so hard to find)..... but as a girl she got a propriate set exept a 16" crash (19" could be perfect).

Alex Klein nice. I'd go with 15" A Custom Mastersound Hi Hats, 18" A Custom Crash, 19" A Custom Crash, 21" A Sweet Ride Brilliant and a 19" A Ultra Hammered China. Big but not too big.

The ride does sound sweet all around, especially during the quarter note sticking. Just enough ping, but also really works as a crash/ride. I love all of your cymbal picks. Zildjian is fortunate to have you on board. Congrats!

the tradition A 21 sweet ride goes really well with the A customs, i like the sound of the A custom crashes but all my crashes are the traditional A's 16" and 18" that came in the A391 cymbal pack from Zildjian. i've always owned the traditional A's, but always liked the sound of the customs with the brilliant finish.

I love Zildjians for their shimmering high end. I have a similar setup but mine are the old Avedis Zildjians: 14” Quick Beat Hi-hats 22” Medium Ride 18" Medium Crash 18” China High 16” Thin Crash I think A. Customs have a bit more mid-range, but they also look a lot nicer. All of my A. Zildjians were made between 1972-86, and no two sounded the same. I had to go to 3 different stores to find the 16” Thin Crash I liked. The consistency of the A. Custom line is nice to hear. Congrats on your new cymbals! They sound great! Also, congrats on being a Zildjian Artist.

You look so very thrilled! I'm so happy for you! You're soooooo talented. I wish I had had more confidence at your age... I'm more of a Paiste cymbal lover than a Zildj...ohhh, sheee-it! Uhh...did I tell you how much I love Zildjian cymbals?!?! Ha ha! But, seriously, those cymbals you picked out sound very nice, indeed. I'm a poor artist (painter, drummer, singer) and I kind of fell in love with the Paiste lower cost cymbals. Some of them sound better than the expensive ones. I can skimp on some cheaper crashes but never for hi-hats and ride cymbals. I love Zildjian K Custom series for hi-hats and rides. The A Customs are just a tad on the glassy side for my liking. I love those old, dark K's on some jazz/jazz fusion records, you know? Anyway, great news, great drumming, "talk" to ya later! :-)

I have the exact same ride cymbal as you. It HAS to be the most versatile cymbal I've ever played. Congrats on becoming a part of Zildjian. Looking forward to more videos! :)

Absolutely have to agree, the A Custom's can't go wrong. And the Sweet Ride, MAN! That's one of my favorite cymbals of all time. Played it for over a decade before switching over to the Dual Crash/Ride by Meinl I'm currently using, and they fill a similar broad purpose. Congratulations! And nice choices!!

Hi. I love your Green Day Basket Case cover. Up until now, thatZ the only video of yours that I've seen. You seem to be as passionate about the drums and drumming in general as I am (and have been since I began playing back in 1992)!!! Congratulations on your Zildjian endorsement. I started out with Zildjian on a pair of 13" A New Beat hats. I also swear by the 13" hats. My biggest inspiration, Neil Peart, is the reason why I started with them. As time went on, I began appreciating the siZe for itZ own reasons, like the fast sound, the clean chick, etc. Great video.

Ngl you kinda should've got the Brilliant finish Sweet Ride to match the rest of your set. I'll tell you now: it's an absolute beast. I got it for Christmas and I use it at home and at church. Amazing ride, crash ride and even crash

As a young drummer back in the day, I'd be reading the rock mags taking notice what my my favorite drummers were using like TAMA kits with a ton of Zildjans! You play a lot of the cymbals I've been playing for years! I play A custom 13" hi hats, 18" and 16" A custom fast crashes and the 21" A Sweet ride as well. One gig we did a bill with a bunch of other bands. We did a kit share and they used my stuff. The drummer for another band, Ryan asked to use my ride, and after their set he told me he was going to go right out and get one. The name says it all. It is pretty freakin sweet!

I owned a 21 inch sweet ride but I found it too quiet. So I opted for 20 inch A custom medium ride and I find that it cuts much better.
