@@dolphinsneu Well anybody can file for SS. It's not just for retired workers, the elderly, or people that are injured and can't work. It's just unusual for really young people like in their 20s or 30s to file for it. But yes, people should only get SS when they are 70. That way they get the maximum benefits of it.

Sonny was definitely the perfect father figure for Julian. Pretty sad it didn’t work out but at least Sonny told him he’ll always be his friend and his family

When I was 13, I didn't understand the point of the scene. Now 20+ years later this literally is sad, funny, yet reality at the same time.

Joseph Bologna portrays Lenny Koufax.
Even Arthur Brooks and the opposing lawyer take their phones out to call their dads... Brilliant.
This role is the closest thing we’ll get to see Adam sandler being himself. He was so down to earth and real in this movie.

Probably Adam Sandler's best role. This and Mr Deeds seem like roles where he's just himself. No childish behavior like Billy Madison( which is still funny) no stupid voices like Little Nicky and no milking nostalgia for every drop like Pixels. This is just a straight up good family movie. We all cried when Julian says "i don't wanna go! Please don't make me go! I won't listen to the kangaroo song, I don't even like that song anymore!" 😢

@@Romy--- as good as he was in Uncut Gems I still prefer him in Big Daddy. He looks much more comfortable in this role. He shows his ability for drama while staying comedic. He was incredible in Uncut Gems but I feel he came off slighty uncomfortable playing such a slimy person.

When Julian first arrived he said he was from Buffalo and Kevin had never been to Buffalo. It was when Julian was called to the stand he was asked where he was born and said Toronto and said he moved to Buffalo with his Mother. That's when Kevin realized that was his son.

It was awesome to see everyone phoning their fathers after that speech. It made me cry

I’m 16 and I could never tell my dad I love him. My mom and he had me at 17 and 16 I have a younger half sister by him 3 years younger. He has never been there for me and probably never will HOWEVER, i thank God everyday that I am becoming the independent young black man I am. I stay in church, and want to be a preacher, actor/singer, and lawyer. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽👑👑👑

This scene always gets me because it hits close to home and reminds me of my own little Frankenstein. I pretty much raised my nephew because his father wasn’t around and I remember him saying those exact words “I want you to be my dad” when he was little. I made a commitment to always be there when he needed me, he’s 22 now and is a Sergeant stationed overseas.
