I love this format, its a great way to reward active players and to keep players wanting to log in for a free high soul. To be fair to Adelyn, based on her A3, if they change Sand Devil to having some sort of hybrid Block Buffs for everything but sleep while awake, if you run her with Brimstone and a toxic set, she can easily with her passive buff her team's damage by 15%, more if you can manage more poisons. It makes her a great option for early-mid, or even late games with bad luck pulls. Yeah, Muckstalker exists, but Adelyn will be putting down Brimstones, decrease attack & speed, so while end game players won't have a use and she's not great for them, I think she's decently placed for a freebie specialist champion. P.s., congrats on the award! Ditto with the sentiments of others, it's well deserved and a teatament to your unique style to be a PvP focused player yet still being able to channel interest from players that tend to not care much for it. Allowing us to vicariously kraken through you, and plus showing your general game bona-fide know how with your results in the HH F2P series pretty much cements yourself in the pantheon in my humble opinion. Keep up the great and entertaining work Drock! 👍

Brimstone and Toxic set only apply their debuffs on hits. Her A3 does not deal damage, so there is no chance to place Smite or poisons.

@@LordOdin78 Yeah, I was figuring that you'd have to pair an ally attack champ with her and position her so she attacks first in the line up, especially if you have a decrease Def+ Weaken on a one hitter so it won't wake him up before the ally attack lets Adelyn gets her hit on him.

😊 I agree 100% Adelyn chase has been done beautifully. That is how giving a free login champs should look like moving fw, something balanced with how the game has progressed (souls & empowerment) and is now a bit better than what was before a free login champ (as they gave us something extra) + stress free. What should be balanced as well is titan events for the souls of the fusions as it's is becoming mental 🤭. We are doing wayyy more w/same resources as before.

Completely agree. It's crazy the energy cap has never changed even as more and more events and content have been added to the game. Really hope they address that one day!

I posted on reddit the other day.. brimstone is a part of her kit for everyone... that brimstone makes her kit so much more better for bosses than her normal kit did.. makes her better for newer players.. I just think its a great way to keep people engaged

Adelyn was a good event. It wasn't overbearing like fusions tend to be. Moderate daily participation will get players the top reward, and it didn't lock players into doing any particular area, like dungeon diving when they'd rather be champ training or grinding SD or PS. Would be great if fusions could at least take on some aspects of this event, I know they are meant to be more challenging, but fusions currently err on the side of being too time consuming.

I'm glad that Plarium gave us a login champion with a 5* soul but my other complaint now is. With everybody who has a free login champions now should get a 5* star soul automatically

Side Note on this. I am running my refferal accounts but applies to any new player, this chase overwrites the shaman 7 day log in. Means I miss out on the life steal gear, had slowed the early progress down a bit as its very useful.

Well let's not get carried away. Still haven't seen the implementation, game is 5 years in and finally catching up to other games qol. We still suffer the 3% rule, they take energy on failed runs, hydra clash takes a huge chunk of time, etc etc. Lots of issues to work on and we don't know how long these features will take to get into the game.

The Tavern changes are not thought out enough. It will still take forever to do champ training. I'm very disappointed in that change. It's nothing like watcher of realms' instant upgrade system.

@@bigpoppadrockrsl In watcher, you click a button and instantly upgrade 10 - 1 star champs to 2 star. Click again and you get 10 more. Now you go to the 2 stars an instantly upgrade 10 - 2 stars up to 3 star. Plariums change will take forever putting stupid brews into each individual champ!!!

I disagree I have used Adelyn in few different places. Still working on her stats. But still don't understand sand devil. I use a mostly strengthen buffs team. I've tried every type of sleep debuff and it don't work

Marichka,Deliana,Pythion,Ragash,Inithwe. Stages 12,13,14. But 14 is iffy cuz I don't remember who I used to get there I just farm 12 mostly. And my bonuses aren't that high

This was an absolute W for plarium in this case. Major hater here, wish the game was better and the login was better, but this is by far the best they did with getting the souls

She does help but the issue is you have to put a lot of books into her to make it worthwhile to use her and since she's a leggo that's tough to do. Her kit isn't good enough sadly and you're better off using a rare like Muckstalker

She is literally only useable for that dungeon and even if she fully restored max hp I'd rather have Muckstalker. The disappointment when reading through her kit for the 1st time was unreal

From my perspective as a late-game player, it doesn't really matter if they give us free stuff like this. For PvE, I don't care since I can farm everything already (ok, except soulcross hard), and for PvP, well, if I get a free 5* soul and free shards, so do my opponents, so my strength relative to them doesn't change at all. I find it much better if they make stuff like that cost resources so you as a player have to make the decision to either go for it or ignore it, which then has an impact on the relative strength in PvP, since you could have either made a good or a bad decision.

I can understand that. Still, I think events like this that are accessible are a good thing too. Almost everything in the game rewards spending. Nice to have this that just rewards normal gameplay.

plarium have been doing great on the making things better for the average player, with free stuff etc. as money hungry as they are, it's hard to say they do nothing. there's not many games, gacha's at that. that do alot of the stuff plarium do. UNFORTUNATELY for all the good they do there's still alot of crap. If they keep this up, i'm very excited to see what happens in the future with QOL, even if they are gonna add a price tag to it. The main point is they're trying. for me personally, what i want the almost the most out of anything, is to know which clan boss chest i've already gotten my 1 key on. it's not ideal when i'm half asleep and i accidently put a key on a chest twice. Also, the ability to go into a bossses fight menu even if we don't have energy / keys just to change around a team or have a look at boss abilities in the menu!

I never thought of it as good or bad. I just saw it as a meh. And as for the QOL stuff they will do, other then the epic empowerment, everything else is whatever to me. As long as they don't get the Market, Bizarre, Clan shop, token trader done, I really don't care. They are too slow to react to things. Just waiting for Fateless to come out. I KNOW they will get it right and not after 5 years.
