Came out in 1987. Ann is 70 and Nancy is 66 I believe. They can still rock today. Saw them about five years ago. Haven’t lost a step.

I listen to that album as loud as I listen to any Van Halen or Metallica. The whole thing.

Ann's voice is still in remarkably good shape. In fact she still had her full upper register up until 2016, and since then there is a marked decline in her upper range. However, her lower more soulful range is still very much intact and she is still a phenomenally powerful vocalist. I do, however, think her days of singing all the Heart classics in their original key is over unfortunately. But overall I'd still say she is, bar none, the best rock vocalist I've ever seen live.

Both live from the 70's: "Magic Man" "Crazy on You" Thanks & you won't be sorry!
At 3:49...that is why Ann Wilson i one of if not the best ROCK FEMALE Vocalists ever! CHILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wow
Dude, these ladies did this video in 1987. The lead singer was 62 when they did the Led Zeppelin tribute so she is now almost 71 and still looks incredible and her sister on the guitar is 67 and still looks amazing and still kills it on guitar. These ladies are timeless beauties.
Heart - Stranded, Even It Up, Will You Be There In The Morning & The Battle Of Evermore
"Who Will You Run To" from this album will give you the flip side of this. A Great Song, Killer Vocals.
The best 80 baby!!!!!!
Heart has been around for over 50 years . Still an incredible band to see live .This particular song is around 1987 off their " Bad Animals " album . It peaked at #1 . Ann Wilson is a beast on vocals and she plays other instruments as well . Her sister , Nancy , is incredible on both acoustic and electric guitar . Review any song of theirs from 1976 ( debut ) to today , and incredible band .
@NYC_Goody

Nancy seems to be pretty good on the piano as well! So she can play multiple instruments as well
YOU JUST WITNESSED TWO QUEENS OF ROCK AND ROLL ANN AND NANCY WILSON ANNS VOICE IS SO POWERFUL AND INCOMPARABLE WHILE NO ONE WOMAN OR MEN FOR THAT MATTER PLAY A GUITAR LIKE SHE DOES EXCEPTIONAL TALENTS EACH HAVE , I CAN LISTEN TO THEM FOR HOURS ON END
Heart "Magic man" 🔥
Heart - "Magic Man", "Crazy on You", "Straight On", "Dog and Butterfly"
Magic Man is another great banger. And again, their cover of Zeppelin Battle of Evermore...live...is outrageous?

Two very talented sisters!
Ann Wilson has such a powerful voice and this song really brings it out. And agreed, the song is sung with such passion. “Never” is one of my other personal favorites you might enjoy by them.
I would love to see you do 'These Dreams Live in Seattle'. Nancy is the lead singer on this song and this version is fire IMO.

These sisters kick ass every time. Great live performance always....they are talented musicians and vocalists. 🤘😎❤️❤️❤️
They don't call it sex, drugs, and rock and roll for no reason!!! 😃
The 80's took them through a different look for MTV videos. I had read someplace that they weren't thrilled with how MTV wanted to portray them.

@Tammy Dean It was the record company. MTV didn't have any power over the artists. But yes they were unhappy about this.
CRAZY ON YOU! MY FAVORITE BY HEART!
Love Alive is a favourite of mine.
Dog and butterfly. Concert in Seattle. Just acoustics and them singing. Beautiful song.
Ann and Nancy still kill on tour and are still beautiful
My favorite female group
LOL. In the eighties my hair looked like Nancy's. I called it the longest mullet in the world.

The sisters were so beautiful, amazing to know it was in the 80's!! Just beautiful. xx
It's all the makeup they piled onto their faces. The Wilson sisters weren't happy about being marketed like this.
@WithaJoeFro

They say that now, but they were fine with it when it was happening. I love Ann and Nancy, but they were very happy with all the dress up stuff until Ann gained weight, then all of a sudden it wasn't fun anymore. I truly feel for her in that regard, but when you allow yourself to be marketed as a sex symbol then you have to take care of yourself and she didn't. I'm so happy that she is healthy now and is finally getting her due respect for her incredible talent, but according to many who were around her at that time she was her own worst enemy.

Ann’s not even on stage with Nancy and the band. The label wanted to hide her weight gain. Shameful.
@maureenwagg5305

@@WithaJoeFro It was never about her gaining weight. That was her problem and her self esteem issue. As a fan, I never stopped loving their music because Ann gained a few pounds. Love them forever.
Love my gals! The beginning of women rockers! A new for women at the time along with sports. I remember coaches figuring out that we could run the full court instead of 2 dribbles and pass. Ha!
Amazing music video! Love these sisters
Transports me back to 1987 every time I hear it, so DOPE
You gotta remember, for a women to play guitar and get on stage and freely “be” themselves. To not have to dress modestly, but to enjoy being a women, freedom felt great! I graduated in 79’! These ladies paved the way, Heart, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Madonna, and numerous others that weren’t “allowed” to rock n roll before. It was unheard of.
@snorpenbass4196

I'd go with Cyndi Lauper over Madonna, though. Madonna basically just trawls gaybars and discos to steal whatever's huge in the gay community, whereas Cyndi Lauper (as weird as she may have become in later years) was truly creative years before Madonna even got on stage.
Those sisters are beautiful as hell!
These girls are amazing. I just love this song and love watching this video.
Fantastic vocals!!! Great job with you reaction excellent!

Bad asses. Perfect two word review. MAGIC MAN will blow you away. Their 80s stuff was OK, but the 70s stuff that the sisters wrote were the best.

Does anyone else get how hard it is for Nancy Wilson to be playing the guitar, laying FLAT back bending over her knees???? This is amazing and so overlooked, only people with extreme flexibility can do this, and she does it while banging out a guitar solo......amazing......I saw Heart in the 80's , NYC......Madison Square Garden and yes, from what I can remember, it was a great concert.
The blonde singing is her sister
Such a great example of a mid 80’s power ballad.
Also, try anything live in Seattle
This video cracks me up!! Where the hell did Nancy come from on that horse!?
i love guys reacting to this video, the females seem to miss the guitar humping at the end. too funny
The music, the video shoot, voices like angels and the sheer amount of hair and hair care products!! This still stands the test of time 45 years later!
Live version of "Crazy On You" is awesome.
Tell it like it is !
Fun times. Brings back memories.
I’ve found some married men attractive but I never cross that line . I didn’t want it done to me so I wouldn’t do it to anybody . Plus you lose em the way you get em !
This song is an 80s classic, probably the definitive power ballad in an era where all hard rock and metal bands made a living off of power ballads. This band probably has a dozen songs that are truly considered classics from the 70s, but only a couple from the 80s and 90s even though the later decades are when they had their biggest chart hits and biggest commercial success. Alone is one of those classics. I hope you'll continue covering this band, I think they're great. My recommendations for the next song would be either "Crazy on You" or "Magic Man", which are both considered 70s hard rock classics along with Barracuda.
Great song. Great reaction. "Even it up" and "Who will you run to" must BE NEXT!
Magic man a must studio version is best for this song hard rock bad ass
THE BEAUTIFUL WILSON SISTERS 😛😛😃🤘💗
Haha yes BAD ASSES!!! Great review 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Yep, as others have said, this song came out in 1987 (omg Aerosmith!!! Now you gotta squeeze in something from them 🤔 maybe Same Old Song and Dance 🤷♀️) But back to Heart ... fun (or funny) story ... I have an aunt that I used to drink & sing with .... we sang Heart for me and The Judds for her!!! 😂😂😂 Good times!!! Hmmmm .... ideas for next Heart review ... Magic Man, Crazy On You, BeBe La Strange, Little Queen ... okay, honestly ... anything!!! Thanks fam 💞

Still very popular song belted out by ladies at karaoke nights to this day. This is one of those power ballads that's still going strong 💪.
React to HEART's "Never" video.

Your reaction video is better watching it the second time around. Your commentary describes the song as they meant it to be. LOL The Wilson Sisters know how to work the camera. "What About Love" and "Nothing At All" are also good videos. In the recording studio, Grace Slick is part of the background vocals.
You Got My Sub.

What a great song by them.
Their still going strong! Nancy just released a solo album!
Kick it out - earlier cut from their 2nd album
I LOVE that song. I was only like 8 or 9 when it came out but I remember jammin out w/ my hairbrush as a microphone. Also probably the only era when the men & women had the same hair styles lol

Their naughtiest song - “All I wanna do is make love to you” watch the video! 😁😁😁👍👍👍
Their finest hour was the Kennedy Center Honors for the mighty Led Zeppelin.

This is actually a remake of the song. Heart did it better than the original.
Who Do You Run To?, What About Love, Never, These Dreams, Straight On, Dog & Butterfly, Even It Up
Listen to Crazy on you!! I'm sure it's not hard to get him alone😏
Dude, look at their hair! Of course it's the 80's, the decade of big perms and hairspray abuse! 😆
So many great songs from them what about love, these dreams, crazy on you, straight on, never, all I want to do is make love to you, black on black
Strip club song bruh, that’s where u heard it at
Hey, I recently found this song and I binge watch people reacting to it because I fell in love with it. I understand you with the "I think I heard this song before" and how it sounds like music from that era. This songe reminds me very much of Europe's "Carrie" - kzread.info/dash/bejne/faGLp5uOcqndpLw.html Starts with a piano, all calm, then the bridge is a little more powerful and the song "explodes" in chorus, although not as much as "Alone". Both bands also have this similar look to them. And I too noticed that A$$ shaking with the guitar and said the same thing, that I never seen anyone do that with a guitar LOL but that was very sexy. Sexy but classy women, great voices, great music, just 10/10 experience I rarely ever get to experience.
If you could listen to the band Toronto another girl band it's called your daddy don't know t.y.
Yo can you do I wonder by nick nittoli next please !!!
Can you guys checkout “original” or “I wonder” by Nick Nittoli 🦋🦋
Heart's "Dreamboat Annie" and Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors" were two huge albums when I was in high school. I liked them and, even more important, girls liked them ... especially those who didn't dig Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. :) Now, if you like a hard-rockin' female lead, try Pretenders' "Middle Of the Road." kzread.info/dash/bejne/i2qEwbBvlqvbebQ.html
EVEN IT UP STRAIGHT ON MAGIC MAN THESE DREAMS NEVER WHO WILL YOU RUN TO ALL I WANNA DO IS MAKE LOVE TO YOU
Gee, how old are you? Your mentality is very different than then. The female singer believes that she LOVES this man she is singing about. It is not just about physical intimacy. And back then there were plenty of songs of men singing about the same thing toward a woman. Back then we UNDERSTOOD romance and love, even when the song is about sex or part of it is about sex, unlike today's youth that have no concept of either because everything is BACKWARD!
@POWER-LINKS
3 жыл бұрын
The 70's/80's were just chock full of nasty sex. No innocent times there. Just a lot of fun/crazy times. We were WAY crazier than today's people are. And it ain't even close.
@sandym4839
3 жыл бұрын
@@POWER-LINKS HUHH?? What music were you listening to? Even vulgar language and swear words were barely heard in any music then. Today we have the objectifying of women, glorifying of gangster life, almost NO romance, and mostly just Luciferian/Illuminati symbolism in top "musicians" music videos and lyrics. I bet you are very young and quite stupid too.
@POWER-LINKS
3 жыл бұрын
@@sandym4839 Tell me, oh paranoid one, how could I have been alive and experienced it, if I was a young person. LMFAO. There was absolutely ZERO, ZILCH, NADA romance and innocence to the 70's/80's music scene. Way more anonymous sex (A.I.D.S. wasn't around yet, lol), recreational drug use and groupies of all kinds. The only thing we left for today's folks is tattoos and piercings. Even the concerts were louder and crazier. You've never had any kind of sex at a concert?
@POWER-LINKS
3 жыл бұрын
@@sandym4839 You apparently were only going to gospel concerts, because at a real concert or on a rock album you'll hear fuck and/or motherfucker 100 times. Hell man, we were the reason '"Parental Warnings" started getting put on album covers. "Class of 76"
@sandym4839
3 жыл бұрын
@@POWER-LINKS AGAIN, WHAT music did you listen to? If you are referring to ACDC and Led Zeppelin, yes, you are right, they were NOT romantic at all, but almost everyone else included love and romance even when singing about physical intimacy, like "Waiting for a Girl Like You" by Foreigner or "Love Bites" by Def Leppard. And most LOVE songs you hear on the radio today ARE from the 70's and 80's, not today's. You are a liar when you pretend that today's youth do not do the same things as then. Covid happened, but it does not mean that today's youth are better than yesterdays'. They are into communism, Wicca, and porn. Never seen it this bad before. Sex at a concert? HUHH?? You must have been into metal or punk, because that is not what you get with Journey or Carly Simon.
