Exactly the same word I use to describe him (charismatic). He's doing an amazing job as the Doctor. Even if the storylines are a bit weirder than I'm used to.

"Moonlight Sonata" _is_ beautiful.

The scene where The Doctor takes Ruby to alternate 2024 if the Maestro wasn't stopped is a callback to a previous 4th Doctor story "Pyramids of Mars" where the Doctor takes Sarah Jane to alternate 1980 if the villain Sutekh the Destroyer wasn't defeated very similar scene.

Thank you. I'm also enjoying the doctor who goes fantastical thing they have going on. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but for me, doctor who should be first and foremost just fun and it has been.

@@Darkly_i_Shine We know that for two reasons: 1) When he says he's gonna bring her back home, he or she says June or July; 2) She says, "You never run!" How would she know that if she's only been with him for a couple days or so? That means they've all sorts of adventures between the episodes! Cue Big Finish and Titan Comics :)

since you asked "non diagetic" music is when the soundtrack of a movie/show/game isnt in universe. its not being played or listened to in universe "diagetic music" is when the music is coming from a source in the media. like someone listening to music on headphones or a radio playing in the background of the scene

I never got to see Queen perform with Freddie, but I have seen them live with Paul Rodgers (he kinda sucked though) and with Adam Lambert (he was incredible), AND I also saw Brian and Roger perform Bohemian Rhapsody live with the cast of the touring production of their musical We Will Rock You on its opening night in Manchester UK in ... I think 2008? A very memorable experience. And in all of those, this may sound corny, but it really felt like Freddie's spirit was there with us as we were gathered there to listen to the music he gave to the world. If you ever get a chance to see Queen + Adam Lambert, I highly recommend it. They really did choose the right person to honor Freddie's memory and his music with Adam.

love the transaction to the opening, and dotn worry, my first thought was he was referring to the 3rd Doctor, til he mentioned Susan. I didnt expect the ending, but i loved it....long as it isnt in every episode...think cause the theme of the villian and episode was musiuc, to show how lively and happy music can make people in contrast how bleak people were when it was gone.

It is nice to know I wasn't alone in thinking the 3rd doctor first.

I'm glad for this Doctor being black because now I'm exposed to other black fans and perspectives, I am always thinking if they're going to factor of his skin color with the time they travel too. Martha suffered for no reason, and 12 had enough sense to defend Bill with a good punch. When you pointed out no questions were asked when a black man in a sharp suit just walks into a room with no extra looks in 1963, I had the same thought in the back of my mind when I watched the episode!

I wouldn't want his race to be a "thing" in every episode. But a reference to acknowledge "this is a fantasy show and we don't want to focus on it but yes we know a black man would have gotten some push back " not a big deal if they don't but just saying

Yes both their clothes were fine for the sixties before they changed. 64 till 69. Not 63! Miniskirts weren’t in yet. Lots of minor anachronisms in this one. It was kinda fun anyway. Not great but fun.

I wish. :) Would be fun, but didn't her scan say Human DNA? Also, Maestro said she was the only human left with music in her heart... so unless she has a chameleon arch (and IF that can fool scans) she is human.
