You will not regret signing Arne Slot. This coach took our club Feyenoord by hand and made us so much better in 3 years. He made us play good football, won prizes and created so much financial benefit for Feyenoord. He did this with a lot of new players EVERY SEASON! Eventually selling them to better European clubs for historic transfer prizes for us Feyenoord. I hope he will not go, because we will miss him so much.

slot his strength has been his amazing capacity to play beautiful high pression football and buying players that fits perfectly into that system , i see a lot of people hating without even knowing him but with a budget that Liverpool has I'm 95% he will succeed. ETH is a whole different trainer , slot has always been different. His playstyle is way more advanced and 99% of the Netherlands loved watching his tactics and adaptability. I have seen people say stuff about his lack of leadership and charisma but i think 100% of the Netherlands can agree that the way he speaks and present himself is pure class and leadership. I think Slot will easily succeed at Liverpool so stop trying to talk smart if u have no idea what coach he is! People actually compare him with Guardiola because of how smart he and his team behind him is.

Ask a former ManU player about Dutch coaches... Coaches like van Gaal and Ten Hag force players into their tactics. Slot builds a tactic around the available players. He squeezes the max out of the individual's strengths and has the collective make up for the individual's weaknesses. He spent €4.5M his first summer to make it to Conference League final. Now our selection is €350M+.

He only ever had any real success once Ten Hag left Ajax. He's third choice for Liverpool because time is running out!!. He couldn't get beat Ten Hag in there meetings and was glad to see him leave the Dutch league. Now, I personally don't think Ten Hag is a great tactician or manager, but he is by far better than Slot in those regards. Ten already has him in his pocket. The only thing I see happening here at Liverpool is what happened at United when fergie left.

Yes, Arne slot at AZ with 5% of the budget available to Erik ten Hag. Ajax fans were happy to see Ten Hag leave. And they were happy he took the trash with him for 100M.

@SigmundAnschutz Yep!!..Its of no suprise that he was 3rd choice because time is running out and the managers they actually wanted said no.

Gary Neville may joke but I honestly think he knows that Liverpool don't make rash judgements. They've had since the end of last year to find the right manager and Alonso aside, this appointment looks very well thought out. Just look at Slot's methods and you begin to see the logic of the choice. He works to develop players to a higher level, he likes attacking high press football, he makes the players work very hard, he's an excellent man manager and he's a clever tactician.

Everton are safe anyway. Liverpool aren't going to win the league we knew that when the pen against MC wasn't given, then the Palace result. I think most of our fans expect a draw, it usually is here.

He had No success in the Dutch league until Ten Hag left Ajax. Ten Hag always had the better of him in games and trophies. And Ten Hag isn't what I'd call good. So the only thing I see is liverpool going downhill like United did when fergie retired.

i personally loves English Football,I see feyenoord rotterdam as a English Club in Holland I like English and Dutch Football, I don't like Spanish or Italian Football whit there Glamour Football players. and Dutch players and ,managers do it well in England so i think Arne Slot make the best of it by Liverpool FC I hope that AS will get great success with Liverpool You Never Walk Alone

Jota injury was biggest reason 4 loss as Mo is out of form after injury. His conversion rate before injury was 23% & now its only 7%. If Jota had stayed fit LFC wud be champs easily. JOTA'S CONVERSION rate is 30%. LFC has one clinical finisher & ManC has 2 in Haaland & Alverez. Anytime u win a cup & get into UCL, its a good season, so be grateful & stop moaning. Emyln Hughes & Cyrille Regis & Geoff Astle all died before age 60 & never got to see their kids married or play footy with teenage grandkids. Brighton will defeat Man C & Arsenal will be favourites & both have loseable games vs Spurs. LFC have a 15% chance but its better than a 1% chance. U can't do much more when injuries rob u of ur top boys. LFC WON A CUP WITH 10 KOP KIDS. FUTURE IS VERY BRIGHT WITH ARNEE SLOT.

Totally agree with you on Jota - he's been our best striker this season, and was in super form until that nasty foul in the Brentford game. But also keep in mind that Nunez has regressed, Szobo is very underwhelming, MacAllister seems tired and our defense (including VVD) has been woeful, conceding early almost in every game.

I’m afraid a lot of people in the comments here have to eat their shoe in December. I hope they’ll still remember than what they said about Slot.
