I've mined xmr solo with 6 ryzen 7 3700 for months and have not hit a block.

Using mini-PCs with aio or air-coolers is so profitable and on that cusp of mining performance per dollar spent.

Im shocked i started on Monero in 2015 and i know guys who been on it since it came out with hundreds of cpu miners and they don’t dare solo mine

It's looking like these proof of capacity (hard drive) based coins are the only ones going to turn a profit as long as energy prices remain high.

As long as you break even all good, never any kyc points of contact.

What is your investment? I see you have Noctua fans on some of your heatsink. $100 in 24 hours is great... But what is the running cost in electricity for all your rigs? OK probably less than GPU mining, however CPUs at full speed do use some wattage. What is your break-even point? How many XMR must you mine to cover your cost and then more towards amortizing your equipment? Please give informative numbers... Saying you got a block of XMR in 24h is great, but not the whole story. Thanks

Hello, I've been exploring for days and I have some equipment mining Monero! Now I would like to do a new experience...But nothing too expensive! Maybe as much as $500 or more! Never thought about making a quality price combo? And don't like Intel's Xeon CPU?

I was here thinking XMR was going to be good for consumer grade hardware but I saw those first cpus on the benchmark site and…😢 sad

Humans are such followers. Think for your self people. Be creative. Although this may be good advice. Don't throw all your money behind someone else's idea. Create your own innovative way of generating income. It's sort of similar to solo mining. You are not guaranteed anything, but if you are successful the rewards could be infinite. I'm still on my journey to becoming F U rich. So, Take this advice with a grain of salt, but this is the path I've chosen. I save, I research, and I make plays.

All I'm running now is x4 cpu's.... x2 5950x, 1 3950x and 1 3900x. I'm still spec mining too....

i would love to see a Verus - VRSC test

running 30 5950's and just got a 7950. Happy mining.

There is no real advantage since you will have to buy each time a whole motherboard, RAM, SSD & CPU for each rig you will build. CPU mining is not scalable like GPU mining, as some point you will hit that wall when it comes to hardware investment, power consumption and break-even :$

Hi Rabid, dont understad what I am doing wrong with monero. I reach 10Khs with 3900X and 14khs with 3950x. Im using 3800mhz, undervolt close to 1 volt on cpu, stock cl16 Ram doble stick. Might as well mine to p2pool, the defacto decentralized mining pool. the main p2pool if you have 50 KH or more and p2pool mini if you have less.

trying to FIND the "3D printed 45 degree Motherboard support stand" online is very difficult.. I've got the "horizontal Motherboard support feet" but I NEED the added space the "45 degree support stand" provides... I (and probably many other viewers) would greatly appreciate your reply as to where you FOUND them to buy already printed... not just the 3d print instructions I can find easily.. Awaiting your reply ASAP!... thank you

Please do a video on how to setup an XMR node, that would be awesome. I moved my 14-rig CPU farm off of JGC coin yesterday. It's now unprofitable for me, but I was making about $8-$10/day before electricity for a couple of weeks. I'm back on Monerocean. Mining straight XMR (RandomX/0 algo) I have a 148KH/s hash rate. Any normal Monero pool is very unprofitable for me, even at just $.10 per KW/h. On Monerocean, my daily income various b/t $2.80 - $3.10 or so, depending. I'm not making any money there either, but I'm simply flipping it to BTC and stacking it high.

Have you tried the profit switching instead of straight xmr

How did you learn how to build the rig?

Maybe you can give a try mining Safex Cash, which is Monero's fork, but. I see it as sleeping giant since project is super cool with real use case

Hey Rabid, just getting into cpu mining maybe GPUs and Asics have got boring 😜 one of my first cpu rigs is actually a threadripper 1920x. But randomly the temps seem really high in Hiveos like 95c! But I read somewhere that for a threadripper 1920x that you need tk subtract 27c from the reported temps? Any idea?

I get 18.000 Hash rate with an AMD 3950x (110w). I'm actually losing money because of the 0.18 kw/h price. Am i missing something here or where you live, the energy is very cheap ?

3900x on most of them.

I did figure out how to setup xmrig and xmrig-proxy to solo mine my 160k hashrate to my own xmr node. Just wanted to give you the heads up bro! You can also use this same setup to mine to other pools and combine all your cpu miners into one hashrate with xmr-proxy.

Nothing to do with ETH as that is proof of stake now. CPU Mining is for coins on the randomx, ghostrider, minotaurx and few other algos.

How do you keep your CPU's below 70 degree celsius when using AMD Wraith Prism aircooler? I have several Ryzen 9 3900X builds where I mine Monero, but I have liquid coolers on the CPU, but the average temperature is around 75-78 degree celsius. How do you get the temperature down? Is it the core voltage settings?

@@RabidMining I have not adjusted them yet since I am updating my powersupply. But I was thinking of trying to run all my 3900X on the same settings as you and to see. I am also considering to change to AMD Wraith Prism aircoolers since they are pretty good. Tested it with the 5950X and it cools verry nice.

It almost always has been this way. Monero has never really rocketed up like the others except in 2016. Mined it for 3 years with threadripper.

I've got a RTM wallet as well that won't show 10k coins or so.

you can also mine to p2pool, just as decentralized as solo mining but more regular payouts :)

Mining seems like quite a bad way to make money for small guys, investing money and trading is just better I feel like at this point if you want to make money quickly made some decent money recently with the ETH increase.

@@RabidMining NH is atm the best bridge to bitcoin if you are a home cripto miner, since you can mine different algorithms depending on your hardware and get bitcoin. But if you don't believe in bitcoin that's another topic. I don't care about NH or criptos. I only care about bitcoin. In the end, bitcoin will be adopted worldwide, not flux, eth, monero, zcash, ergo, dodgecoin, poo coin +20k

Best way is actually mine coins that make more and swap yourself nothing against btc at all I do swap to it and a lot more then what NH provides.
