Good day of fishing despite some weather and a dead net :( Thankfully there are great people out there that are willing to help out!

Good day on Jordy. You guys caught some quality fish. Bummer about the net, but so true a good net is invaluable. Good to have friends on the water.

Great video sorry about your net. Got a nice rubber one at the bottom of Flaming Gorge myself.

Nice video Matt. Good to see you get your friend out fishing. Hate to see your net go for a swim. Happened to me at the Gorge. Now I have two nets in the boat.

It looks like you still had a good day despite the net. We lost our net last year it sunk to the bottom of Deer Creek. So I put a little extra flotation on the new net, hopefully it wont happen again. Great job at Jordanelle. We were really enjoyed watching. Good luck on your next trip!!🎣👍

Definitely a great day. I had noticed you put some pool noodle on your net. How well does it float with that?

@@KokaneeAddictFishing I set it in the water it seemed to float pretty good, un extended. It also provides some cushion when I lean it up inside the boat. Sometimes I'll hang it over the side to unhook a fish. Hopefully this one wont fall out and get lost. Take care, good luck!!

I have added cut up foam, then spray foam to the inside of my net handles after a similar incident.

I thought those nets floated? At least that is what I was told

I thought so too…. EGO makes a fixed handle net that they claim floats but have updated their website to state that the sliders don’t.
