    It’s only fair for Math Hoffa to invite Pete Nice and have him shed light to the story of 3rd bass, hip hop museum and his career post music. Sam Sever is another component of 3rd Bass along with Richie Rich. From Kurios George to KMD, Pete has some serious pull in the game as well

    Serch isn’t very respected in certain circles of the game. He’s made some insane claims where his credibility is pretty slim. One being Rakim having a ghostwriter because he felt pressed by his success in lack of better terms

    Cause of Serch! You can literally tell Pete Nice was a better rapper than Serch and better yet the honest outta both of them! He never tried to act black to get down with the black community! Now Serch having a fade is pretty cool but I felt he tried too hard. I mean you never seen Beastie Boys with high top fades!? Cause they know that’s not them! With that Rakim story that was wild that Serch said that! And Pete I wished could’ve said that wasn’t true, but he felt like it ain’t worth it just let a fool be a fool.

  • @shiestysean

    @shiestysean

    Жыл бұрын

    That and when you’re working a group you have to also realistically plan for the eventual solo artist. While doing that you also have to keep several artist on their respective shits. Example being when you can see Beyoncé is gonna be THE solo artist from destiny’s child. But you don’t wanna throw away a Letoya Lucket or Kelly Rowland. So you have to keep Kelly on point, letoya on point, Beyoncé on point, all while keep destiny floating til it’s time to go solo. It’s more work in almost every aspect. AND you gotta worry about them getting along anyway

    As a uber driver this hits home. Last year around 3am I was driving and fell asleep as I was driving thru an intersection.my light was red. I woke up cause i heard a siren it was an officer with Mesa pd out here in AZ. He did not ask for license or anything. He asked me wth was I doing and if i ws on anything. I was so lost not realizing wht just happened. I said no sir i am tired and im driving uber and i ws trying to make it to the next gas station to grab a red bull. I was nervous as hell cause it just happened so fast and i told him i was tired i wrked 10 hours at my call center job then tried to pull another 6 to 8 with this job but i was mad tired and trying to get to the gas station and i must have dozed off. But listen dudes eyes got thw size of half quarters he said " did u see the other patrol suv?!?! " i honestly answered no i ddnt cause i really ddnt i said no officer i only saw ur vehical. Yo listen this dude said he and his partner were heading to an emergency high speed chase tht they recvd a radio on i guess their light was green mone was red he said they ws flying and his partner who on God i ddnt see swerved around me as i ran the intersection and kept going and tht is whn he dipped right to pull me over and i ddnt stop so he hit his siren. I showed him my app tht i was on. I will never forget his look he took a breath and said god was with me cause he and especially his partner almost took me out and dude could not even finish he took a breath told me to get coffee or sleep or whatever up the street and let me go bjt he just kept sayin" you coulda. Man u lucky thay was close half a sec and you ... " dude couldnt even finish. But thts whn i realized how real it can be and how lucky i ws. God, grand ma my homies someone had my back tht day. I think about tht frm time to time. Like i dnt even remember seeing. 2nd patrol vehical let alone the one tht pulled me over at first. Drive safe. Driving sleepy is wprst thn drunk in some cases. Dnt do either.

    I don’t think Pete Nice is a fake, when I look more deeper in the history of 3rd Bass? Interviews and shit? It seems like Serch was always the one running his mouth. Pete Nice just stay laidback and spoke when he was asked to be spoken. Serch I believe would speak when no one was asking him questions. You would think that on records they were a team and they call each other “my man” and shit but basically hip hop is part of entertainment. So if all that was just entertainment and not a real bond? It’s sad cause I love 3rd Bass! They was the first interracial hip hop group!
