@@boxieracorn8445 Since Joni and I share a home town near the road to Baljennie, I will jump to her defence. She only said the gravelly voice was an affectation. There is lots of evidence that Dylan truly had a soft, even sweet voice. Look at early recordings or the 1966 incomplete songs while jamming with Robbie in a Scottish hotel room.

This really misses the mark. His earlier version is so much better because it's so passionate. Sounds like he's singing to a metronome in that one and it helps so much. Seek it out.

Nico always had a horriyfing voice..sorry.....I liked her at age 11 too...but now? I can hardly stand to hear her....now....looking....she was a human object of art.
