You know, trigonometry *was* one of the things that I was better at in school... REAVER's Early Access is already out now on Steam; at the very least, please give the game's demo a try! Grab it here: store.steampowered.com/app/1890950/REAVER/
0:06 jesus christ, a ricocheted headshot on a flying enemy? for anyone here who doesn’t know, the revolver’s initial ricochet has NO auto-aim on it at all. at this rate, becoming a professional pool player might be a viable job for you lmao
ok ill give this game a shot

goated game
this feels like watching ultrakill gameplay for the first time again
You really WERE the quiet kid that paid attention in math class, god damn dude
The gun is literally named after him
2 mello AND movement shooters???? you truly know the way to my heart jfc
This video is just perfect man, I love it so much The skill, the music, the syncs, everything is top notch Will be playing REAVER 'cause of you. I know I'll DEFINITELY have fun with the ricochet revolver and other weapons that they have in store. :D Thanks for the inspiration!
This Vid goes so hard. The banger music choice and the absolutely mental but smooth gameplay. It just works.
this is the kinda advertising i can get behind, will check out soon 👍
This video convinced me to never take my medication again
ding dong johnson, thank your for these sounds to work/study/sleep to
it only took 5 seconds, gonna buy it soon
Cool video tho, and good luck further!
you successfully convinced me
NEED reaver to get more exposure and attention. some of its ideas are a bit derivative but it uses those as the base for a huge amount of totally insane original ideas. the style potential is ridiculous
Okay you're convinced me
Four seconds in. I’m convinced.
ill convince you to play arma 3 in one minute
damn, me reaver got a GYAT in the thumbnail
cant convince me to play it if already am
REAVER for now looks like a dream of an ULTRAKILL fan who doesn't understand why and how some mechanics work.
Yes REAVER is very REAVERABLE
Already did😏
HEY HEY NICE SONG CHOICE EHEHHEE remember to listen to the return of the soul album by him :3

When it comes to a lot of movement shooters these days, that could definitely be seen as a bad thing on the game's behalf. However, crunkz actually stated that the revolvers should be treated exactly like this, as they're the "main weapons" of your arsenal. In other words, they're like your primary weapon(s) in a more mainstream shooter, such as Team Fortress! A lot of us have become quite accustomed to the trend of using a game's entire arsenal to its fullest, from stuff like DOOM Eternal and, of course, ULTRAKILL. So, I'm actually quite glad that crunkz decided to take this route instead, as I feel it allows us to create a really strong bond between ourselves and the weapon (as weird as that might sound to you hahaha)

@@EreNyn3 That's actually great to hear and takes away some of my "guilt" of not constantly using the other weapons. Appreciate you sharing that!
Unfortunately it runs with sweet 5 FPS on my PC, so I stay in Ultrakill

Is this like.. Diet ultrakill?

It's definitely heavily inspired by Ultrakill but I'd say it's got enough of it's own identity that it doesn't just feel like a clone.

The only things that need a “diet” here are you and every person that keeps parroting the idea of REAVER being nothing more than an inferior ULTRAKILL. But seriously, try the demo out before coming to that conclusion. I really don’t know how ANYONE can watch Eren use that revolver’s ricochet ability without wanting to try it out for themselves, at least.

This ain't 'Diet Ultrakill' bruh this is Ultrakill with 100% real cane sugar... Actually wait maybe that's cocaine...

@@lauracraft180 first, ad hominem Second, I'm not " parroting " I just saw the game and thought that it looked kinda similar to it, don't be so triggered by people making comparisons lol And if this is the playerbase this game already has then i don't think it's the game for me tbh

Although I’m not one to condone a more… “aggressive” stance on the matter, I see where Laura is coming from; there’s an “ULTRAKILL derivative” ideology plaguing many videos showcasing new movement shooters (and even FPS’s in a completely different genre). Of course, it’s hit my channel as well, so I really understand Laura’s defensiveness. In my own terms, REAVER is a genuinely amazing game which definitely deserves a title that’s more than just “Diet ULTRAKILL” hahaha Either way, I agree with the idea that you should give REAVER a go! I understand that many people only have ULTRAKILL as a frame of reference for this particular niche of FPS, and if that’s also the case for yourself: it wouldn’t hurt to try expanding your horizons, right? As a side note, if you thought Laura’s response was enough to sway you away from trying the game out, I’m sorry to say that there’s a fairly substantial amount of ULTRAKILL players who display *much* more toxicity when it comes to these kinds of topics, and they’re *very* vocal. If you didn’t know that until now, then that lends more credence to this rule of thumb for single-player games: *Never* let the community discourage you from potentially playing your next GOTY. On that note, thanks for coming to my TED talk!
Reaver is kinda cool but God it tries to introduce way too much shit every minute, I had a hard time playing it. Not even in a difficulty way in a just really overwhelming and confusing way. I beat the boss of the current campaign with no knowledge of like any of the mechanics I feel because I got no time to play with them before it brought in more. I think the final version of the game will be pretty good but the current build is a little rough

Totally fair takeaway, as I’d also agree that REAVER is currently quite a condensed package. Fortunately for me, familiarity with other movement shooters + engaging with the whole community definitely helped me ease into things more quickly. Yet, first and foremost, I’d say the biggest help of all was just replaying the levels. As you inferred, REAVER’s pacing will need, and of course, see improvements. For now, however, I really encourage you to experiment with the mechanics, weapons, tech, and such in their respective levels until you feel comfortable with your level of proficiency. I completely understand if you don’t feel the urge to do so, but there are many intricacies found within REAVER that are just too good for anyone to miss out on; I hope you’ll enjoy a bit more of what the game has to offer as a result of what I’ve suggested!

@@EreNyn3 I just felt like it just wanted to speed through actually teaching the player how to do stuff, and what each enemy does. I think it was the city specifically that introduces a new gun and 2 new enemies within like 1 minute and God it's just aggravating more than hard
oh it's ULTRAKILL 2
