Where can I suggest a video or a group and a song for viewing? There is one old but very cool band 'From Us To Sunset'-Shadow Beyond, where the girl gives out such vocals that she can easily give odds to many extreme vocalists

AJFA is my fav even thogh they ripped the bass out... I believe Death Magnetic is somewhat similar to AJFA in a sense of song construction, controversial sound mixing, nasty riffs and dire lyrics...

Liked it. So far they are 2 for 2 on this album. Love the channel. Keep it up.

In 2023 never did I think I’d be excited for a Metallica album. Huh. Can’t wait. Thanks for another great reaction.

Metallica have got into a groove in this phase of their career, not what I always look for but man when I'm into it it's soooo damn good and nostalgic! Excited for their album 😁

The lyrics speak volumes man

Very different from the old Metallica I know and love, but these two new singles still tickle my fancy a lot. While I’d love to see them go back to their ‘84-‘90 roots, I’m also not upset that they’re not doing it. I’ll love Metallica regardless. They’re the band that made me start playing guitar again and got me fully invested into metal as a whole. They have their bad moments, for sure, but I still love them. Very few, if any bands, make me feel like that.

Their album master of puppets and ride the lightning are my favorite

The song is awesome. I actually like that it's SIMPLER BASIC BLUES ROCK N ROLL and PENTATONICS. Catchy riffs, and I can actually play these and keep up, as an OLDER guitarist myself. This band has come from 1983 to 2023. It's fucking insane. And this genre too. The kids today are never satisfied. This band and song is a blessing in an age where 90% of modern music sucks..to my ears anyway. I'll take any real guitar band anyday.

You're missing out on some classics then if you have that attitude. Between the Buried and Me, Ne Obliviscaris, Haken, Twelve Foot Ninja, Volbeat (which is basically my generation's Metallica), Ghost, Mastodon; there are so many more I can name. It always irritates me to hear the older generation make these sorts of claims, when that's just your nostalgia getting in the way. Guitar hasn't gone anywhere; it's just evolved.

I think it sort of sounds like Motörhead at the start and then changes into something else

Sounds like a leftover track from Death Magnetic. At least you can hear Robert in the forefront. It’s like the anti-Justice! But, you lost me with the last song gave you Sun 41 vibes. What does that even mean?

What I don’t get is how you have a band like Overkill which is around the age as Metallica yet put out heavier and better thrash metal with more and better riffs. It’s just an example of how other bands are still making better thrash vs what Metallica is putting out.

Metallica always said they would do what they wanted to do then people say they sold out,maybe they did but they are doing what they want now I guess,and maybe they are creating some easier songs to play so they actually can play it at 70 lol just a thought anyway.

I like this one more than the precious track. But seriously, why are BOTH guitar solos so shitty? Is Kirk just phoning it in and forgetting all the legato he's built throughout the years? Because those solos are sloppy and lazy as fuck. The rest of the track is solid though.

Unpopular Opinion, But i do not like them. Their music is great, but they always sound the same. It is like Melrose Place going on constantly, you have to watch one episode and you know everything. They always play in the same style, same tempo, same runs here and there. It feels like i'm actually listen their old songs. It can be a good thing, but i do not see the progress in that, and hence i hate remasters and digitally remade movies, it did not fit my style. For example you check Trivium, and every album is definetly their style, but they are able to renew their sounds, their style a bit more and more. I miss these from Metallica totally. I remember when Death Magnetic came out and everyone said "WOW this is new!" and i checked it and it literally sounded totally the same :D and i was like ... "yo what are you all talking about? :D "

No matter what they do they just can't seem to drop the radio sound... Miss the original Metallica

It's because they are 40 year veteran musicians. They are a polished machine at this point. They are going to sound too professional.
