Excellent!! Many don't realize this is the early "Merseybeat" bass style that McCartney also employed early on, which is a Country and Western-based bass style. Chadwick and McCartney, in fact all the Beatles and Pacemakers were essentially from the same areas in Liverpool. DNA, baby...

Hey, very enjoyable! Just realized I've probably never heard this bass part because when it was released, I had a cheesy little phonograph with zero bass response. After 55 years, I came across your cover and finally heard the bottom line!Nice Epi btw.

love this cover of this! I'm stuck home in lockdown playing my bass. I haven;t played in a while, I normally play guitar and I'm enjoying playing it again. I found this and it's such a great job. Thanks for teaching me this! I always loved this song.

Hi, I use an Ashdown RM combo, gets a great 60s sound

Thanks, and yes I have flatwounds on all my basses, not sure what brand these ones are though.

I don't use tab. This is a very easy bassline, try and follow along to the video, it'll improve your ear. Using tab all the time makes you lazy
