Honestly just looks like a fun level to me

BTW I beat this from start to finish... then back to the start for the upload. 500 second speedrun let's go! I timed out several times, mainly due to the claws :) I'm going to put the clear in an upcoming video since a lot of people are requesting to see it. It was fun, honestly. Can we get a huge shoutout to my 2nd editor Luci who had to look through over 24 hours of video footage to find the best clips for this video, and then edit them into a cohesive and funny story for all of our amusement

That thwomp stealing the car troll has to be one of my favourites of all time. Because it happens so fast you have to process what you just saw. But then you get another clowncar and it just plays itself off as a silly joke. Except when you grab the second clown car you truly realize what the hell happened the first time. All the while it makes 0 sense in the first place.

Being there and seeing how horrible ideas went from horrible to more or less horrible and seeing how this level turned out, this was a huge success. Peak level brainstorming. Galaxy brain level design and gg to all who managed to beat this!

Thankfully that's not accurate. She doesn't actually reset it between streams. That being said, on that, the first of the TWO streams it took her to beat it, triple digits is a very safe bet.

@@Luci_4k Great edit Luci! I have one small request for next time. Could you keep showing the streamer names for each of their clips? If you want to check out someone but forgot the name it's pretty difficult to find their first clip in the video where their name is shown.

The live discovery of this video just makes it so much better oh my god, Carl procedes to troll himself while editing the level. ESPECIALLY the “nope my clown car” troll at 19:35

I normally have a hard time getting interested in level building levels, not because I think the setups are boring, but just because of the long explanations and planning and time it takes to actually build. But Carl's style of explaining his ideas about each section, before interjecting clips of different streamers falling for it, always keeps me entertained. 44:48 OH MY GOT

the pure despair in geek’s voice before she finished the level hurts a little bit honestly

What I really love about the design of the level is that you're probably going to fail each section and go through its softlock as well as the ones before it so you kind of play out all the verses of the song during your play through.

I was waiting for this compilation. Your evil levels give me a spark of joy.

The absolute genius part of this concept is that in the original song you start with 1, then 2->1 then 3->2->1 and so on, and since you'll get sucked into each anti as you play through the level, you experience it that way, and then you get to play out the whole final verse. Its just brilliant.

The combined efforts of carl and chat got Geek to actually swear once😂! Amazing work everyone!

I love these videos. It builds such a sense of community, prior to these kinds of videos I didn’t recognize any of these streamers, aside from maybe geek and dgr. Then after one or two I kinda saw who they were but didn’t think I’d really remember, just thought it was cool he was giving a shout out to some lesser known streamers. Now I’m like “dang I wonder how this person might react to that” or “no way I can’t believe THAT streamer did that in this level” I’m excited to see everyone, it’s honestly so cool, and I’m definitely gonna be checking out their streams more often

This is the best MM video ever. The way it intermingles design, building, explanation, and streamers playing and reacting makes this more enjoyable than any other MM video I've seen.

There's a magical moment, where all the streamers just have this look of realization.... That they've walked boldly into Hell and Stanley has just given them a boquet of roses, extra sharp and fresh from the lava lake.

I like how so many people had trouble with the see-saws when the answer was really simple: just wait and time it. But waiting is anathema to a Mario player so they all tried to brute force it. Thanks for the video content Carl. Thanks for the editing Dave. Thanks for the additional editing Luci.

I'd been waiting for this compilation ever since I saw Juz and Geek struggle through it.

The thwomp stealing the clown car is one of the funniest trolls I've ever seen in this game. 😂

There are a *lot* of things to highlight about this level, but my single favorite thing, despite its appearance in other levels, is the up-thwomp. It just (literally) comes out of nowhere to make you have a bad time and it's fucking fantastic. So many amazing trolls in this level, many arguably far better than that, but that's the one that made me laugh the hardest watching the videos of these various creators playing through the level. Also, Defender has lost his way. Once upon a time there were whispers of a holy scripture outlining true troll perfection. It is clear now that any mention of such a document is nothing but idle gossip. Edit: I was reminded toward the end. My single favorite part of this whole endeavor was watching Tanuki Dan grind out the world record. I didn't catch it live, so I only saw the edit on his channel, but...I felt it. Jesus fucking christ dude, you're insane and I love it!
