For 3 years, I lived 40 mins away from there, and I ate there quite a few times. The food is genuinely that good! Best BBQ I've ever had (so far), and I've lived all around the world.

I just took up the art of smoking meats and I can tell you it really does take a lot of passion. Waking up at 2am to start something. Babysitting it for 12 - 20 hours. Using different types of wood for different flavors. Different techniques, etc. But the finished product is always amazing.

I always love the process of making Texas BBQ, I have a pellet smoker and am still learning how to make proper Briskets. Here's to mastering it !

Cattleack is the GOAT. Todd and Misty are very humble and gracious hosts. Best bbq in the state and because they keep it to just two days a week, you get Akaushi Brisket which is perfection.

Don't stop yourself before you ever get started. If you truly do have big goals and dreams, you are already much farther ahead than most others. Now it's up to you to pursue them.

i may not be from texas but i lived there for 10 years and as long as you go to the right place in texas you definitely will get these results and they are delicious!

If you're ever back in the DFW area, Hurtado Barbeque in Arlington (and Little Elm) has some insane, what they call, Mexi-cue. Some of the best meat straight up but even better in their tacos, tostados, and other side dishes.
