About Russia and phonk: As far as I know, I’m pretty sure a Russian or Russians had just been listening to phonk, and they began to like that style of music. This lead to some phonk being created in Russia, which caused the genre to spread like wildfire. To explain a little more, I’m pretty sure some people had found out about it online. The music being online helped a lot to spread phonk.

I've been a fan of phonk since 2013. And the thing that disturbs me the most is that there are lots of other styles of phonk which might not be always that aggressive and people don't really know about them. Go listen to Sin, Subitsuji, Saudiere, Shelby. This kind of phonk is meant to be listened in a car but also relax and get the vibe from this deep bass sounds. Not every phonk beat has to be with this cowbell sound.

same I really like memphis tape by BLADEFEAR but my fav type of "nightdrive phonk" is either 'GET AWAY II" by "MXRGX" and "NERONUS" or "ERROR" by "DCLXVI". I really like NightDrivePhonk becuase it has that vibe to it that makes it addicting, it goes perfect with night drives :)

So I just discovered you and your channel and I gotta say that I'm very glad I found this, the energy you put into these tutorials is insane, not like the average beatmaker on KZread. You're even giving us a newsletter with all that content for free. I see you really enjoy this beatmaking world and you don't do it just for the money, I've been into this world for the last 7 months and i'm still learning so I repeat I'm really glad I found this channel, keep it like that man you're awesome ;) EDIT: I'm really impressed about your skills when it comes to draw the pattern on the drums specially those hi-hats, that was insane. Hope you see my comment

@@Bittamin Sure thing! So basically what I do is i slightly distort my basses while having a short snappy kick.
