Well they have zero training, 30 days a boxer does not make. They need to learn a lot about footwork, hip movement, slipping, and striking. The fight was boring because the only weapon they really had were sloppy jabs and wide, telegraphed hooks.

I don't think some of the people in this comment section realize that going from absolutely zero fighting experience to a noticeable improvement in only one month is impressive and would take a lot of willpower, especially for out-of-shape guys like the one in this video Sadly a lot of people get pleasure out of belittling others, and this comment section is a good example of that. I wish people could just be more compassionate, but to the cowards in this comment section, It is much easier to be a douchebag than to actually show some kindness :/

And to go 3 rounds after only 30 days of training is a testament to how hard both of them worked. Patrick really scored more frequently, and more solidly. Great video!

As someone who grew up boxing, I've seen 10 year olds better than this. In 30 days you should learn how to properly jab. They were punching from their fucking belly buttons and from the side. I'd be embarrassed to even be on this video if I had no idea what I was doing. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just giving you a genuine response. There was little to no improvement. They were the same size weight wise, but TJ had less fat and a lot more muscle. TJ should have been able to end it in one round, regardless of how much training Patrick got. I was fighting at 130lbs at 13 years old, I would have beaten both of them. Giving it your best isn't comparable to fighting with the proper technique that you've been trained to. They literally slapped each other.

it's really not that easy when it comes to a real fight, it still feels different than just sparring, you get nervous and that makes you tired faster, your punches and moves doesn't look as smooth and good, your power isn't fully delivered. Also, 3 rounds of 2 minutes isn't that easy, and not backing up is even harder, it takes a lot of heart, so give them some credit, it's also not that easy to learn everything in 30 days when they have other things going on in their life, there's a lot to learn in boxing, and it's a hella long term process.

AntonioKowatsch both were scared..its not like they are up against heavy hitters like davis, golovkin of canelo..they have no unique stylev and are thowing shoulders. Instead of driving off the ground n getting pivot rotation from the core..long way to go..they need footwork to flank n get power lever...most dont dont know how much intelligence it takes combining asll aspects

Honestly it is so much more different than people think. All the staff, who probably has never trained or sparred a round, do not understand the intensity of a 3 minute round. Each minute feels like an hour. You're huffing and puffing for correct breathing. We may not see the impact of every punch but the leather gets in there. Every little punch feels like a sting or whiplash to the face. Your mouth starts to sting. Your hearing and perception is just on and off, it's like someones blind folding you and taking it off constantly with a flash light in your face. Constantly in paranoia of another stinging punch you don't see coming. At the same time trying to get off a clean jab that builds hesitation with every miss. The view inside and outside the ring is so different, you can't even judge. A lot of respect for him for staying in there.

It takes about 4 years or more just to get the basics right to be able to know how to box. I know this because I am a boxer and I have been doing it for 6 years now. These guys don’t really know how to box but i do have respect for anyone who gets in the ring.
