When we first meet schenk I think the writers did an excellent job of making us dislike him but as he progressed he became more likeable and this scene blew me away when i first saw it so raw

yes! I expected to hate him as a pen pusher but then you see he's a hard good guy.

This scene is superb, especially the bit before where he tries to unnerve the suspect by saying he has a slight twitch, showing a “tell” sign that he’s lying… I do really think the Schenk character has the potential to be in a spin-off series in his own right…

proper usage of most of the verb tenses of the English language in one shot... this is a great listening clip for language learners!

I was laughing during this scene, as much as I enjoyed it - it was simply hilarious. Certainly one of my favourite characters from Luther; he has such a great way of speaking.

It's because Schenk is always so measured and cool but he has HAD it with Cameron Pell and he wants to get Ripley back and be fucking done with the whole thing.
