I'm admittedly bummed that I didn't go with my gut instinct & buy bitcoin few months back when it was $20k - $25k range. is it too late to get in and make profits? i have set aside $450k to get fully invested this year

i don't think it is. Once bitcoin crosses it's all time high, it becomes the new bottom. Anything under 69k is a good buy. It's still advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor instead of relying solely on speculations

The only issue you might have is the fear of missing out, just like everyone else. A good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisors in exploring new markets, but over the past 10years I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $1million in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure.

you don't need that much, as long as you have 250k to 350k in cash, and earn at least 40k plus is fine. It not like you are going to pay the car off, get the car, drive it for a year or two then get something else. You don't need millions of manov to oniov nico thinnc.

It seems everyone is still relying too heavily on the charts now. Imho, when the ETF's stepped into Crypto it changed the game. The Bitcoin Baby has been born and will grow up fast. The Crypto Market now has a rubber stamp of approval. Wall Street is in the game now and It will become the store of value we have been talking about. The rules are already changing. We would have normally had a corrective retrace by now, yet Bitcoin has been steadily rising. The name of the game is getting out with profit, but when exactly to get out this Super Cycle is going to be a tricky one. It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady...managed to grow a nest egg of around 3.4Bitcoin to a decent 18Bitcoin in the space of a few months... OK but I bought Cardano and I stake it in liquid staking which I can remove at anytime With no lock up and I still get 4 or 5% so how is a bond or a CD better than that? Plus, the base value goes up as the token goes up, so I’m not really sure I get the benefit?

@@randyra88not true. To be fair, the project is slow and could use more marketing flare but it’s not going anywhere. If anything, a lot of current longstanding big cryptos projects/coins are becoming more centralized which is ironic because of the purpose of crypto. ADA is one of the few projects that is 100% completely decentralized. TheCoinBureau did a solid video analysis on this about a week ago.

Cost of living is comparable with major cities in the us. Food is slightly more expensive. 0% capital gains tax, 4% corporate income tax

It was indeed valuable Max. Thank you. I also have a chapter in life wherein I have tons of excess money from my salary as a college teacher and I have this overconfidence in my entrepreneurial skill that I ended up starting different businesses that lost thousands of money. The lesson that I got there is to really double down on something that works and minimize and even cross out those that don't. Period.

Why lock your money up on CD when for example Robinhood is paying 5.25% interest. Or cosmos is paying 14% interest APY for staking rewards?

Any thoughts on MELD? Im debating throwing in the towel with this project but the bull market is coming.

Could have done the same thing and just put it in the S&P 500 for a chance at better returns. You said it yourself, you don’t need the money. If it dips 20%, who cares, just keep holding. The S&P is constantly riding all time highs, nothing to be concerned about.

Bonds and CDs have different interest rates. Bonds in the past have been better, but since around Covid times, CD interest rates went wayyyy higher than they have been in the past. FDIC insured CDs are insured up to 250,000. So you buy each one from a different bank if you have more than 250k. Like max said, he bought 1 year CDs for 5.25% which is pretty good. Most wealthy people have been using CDs in these confusing times over the last 3-4 years.

Warren came from wealth, and most of his projects in the 1950s-1970s were the same style of extracting profits by squeezing companies that most people today do not like done.

I think selling everything was a great idea except where you put, I've been seeing a lot of bad news on the horizon with banks. Put it in bitcion and see a better than 5.35% return and save yourself from the coming bank runs. Best of luck to you though!

I know it's not really the point of the channel but if more money only makes your life 1% better then you could focus on other things that make your life infinitely better like a wife and kids (if you dont already have them), or the most important thing which is following Jesus and giving your life to Him, since all the things you build on the earth will pass away along with your life eventually. It's really a God shaped whole that we all try to fill with other things.

And then just look at that as a long term, life time hold. Only cashing out what you need to live on, only after it is high enough, per coin, you can live on it for the next 20-30 years. Blessings

Using uncomplicated, "low risk" option strategies as a substitute for stock, lately. But I'm not advising to do that. There's nothing wrong with options per se. It's just that there are so many extra traps you can get yourself into with them that the past three years of actual trading would be difficult to pack into a one-year course. But it is possible to make good money with options by providing liquidity, a necessary service. And not gambling. The trick is finding such places where liquidity is in demand, and not being run over by a stampede of earnings gaps, dividends, contract rollover, platform bugs, trump tweets, execution delays, fat fingers, delayed quotes, margin, exhaustion, etc. Etc...

How old are you Max?

Crushing it as always Max, but you’re missing a stock on your list. Can you guess what company is sitting on 1.2 billion cash, has a ceo taking zero compensation, insiders buying, is about to announce a full year of profitability for the first time in 6 years, heavily shorted, with nearly the entire float purchased and the stock price has only significantly declined? 😏

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Catherine Gauthier.

It's funny coming from following Warren Buffett and leaving stocks for crypto. LoL In reality BRK.A isn't much different than Bitcoin. It's never split, paid any dividends, and is scarce with Warren HODLing about 33%. I'm not sure about holding CD's for any long duration though since your purchasing power is lost to currency debasement over time.
