I work in healthcare, and I suggest you look into the business model a little more closely. I worry about a company where they make less money, the more the services they offer are used. All they do is put up roadblocks and refuse to pay for basic services. There is a growing population of older, unhealthier adults who will use the services UNH offer more frequently. Please ask clarifying questions or point out any holes, but I think PBMs and insurance companies are up high on the list of evil companies who take advantage of people for profit.

I’m partial to ABBV. In regard to their FC yield and FC yield CAGR, it’s is comparable to UNG for the 3 yr, 5yr and 10yr. However on the 1yr, it’s not and negative 9%. I am assuming that is a component of recent sell off starting back in 2022. In essence, it needs to reaccelerate to join the elite club.

I have a question that may prompt another video. I notice you focus on finding stocks that will grow there dividends and might not be that high right now. This is beneficial because you plan to hold these for a long time. But wouldn't it be better to find stocks that have already grown the dividend to a higher percent over the years and you can jump in after the fact? I know this will be a balance of the price will be higher so you can't buy as much, and it's too perfect of a scenario to find low price and high dividends with good history and outlook. Wondering how that all plays out though

Yearly Dividends are only accurate if you compare them to the stock price increase. However, 1.67 % remains little. Even US bonds return more in 2024. There's a Ford bond that returns 7.25 % today... We are not in the 2020s anymore, where low interest rates dominated the stock market, and dividends were a good thing to do. Switch to bonds until interest rates fall again.
