    @ kentucky4494• ALTHOUGH the market isn't so stable, it isn't as bad as people think. With the right techniques & knowledge, one can easily make so much profit from the market in a day, go do your own research.... In all honesty, as a beginner who knows next to nothing, I am about +65% up just in a couple of months... I'm a retiree, and I am using these extra resources to help pay for odds and ends that I want.

With the right techniques & knowledge, one can easily make so much profit from the market in a day, go do your own research.... In all honesty, as a beginner who knows next to nothing, I am about +65k up just in a couple of months...     @ bertjames436• NO I don't. Spreadsheet has always seemed stressful, and of no relevance to me.. For my top holdings, I follow Kelly Marie Matwick's positions automatically in real-time, she's good.

    .75% shouldn’t be considered a dividend stock. My two cents(which is more than MSFT dividend!)

    @@will785you're losing more money to inflation. Less than a percent yield is terrible. You'd need millions of dollars in capital to able to live off the dividend income from that.

    4 out of 5 presented companies are not really a dividend stocks, but a growth companies. BAC with almost 3% dividend yield is an exception.

    I feel like Target is low key an excellent valued Dividend Stock right now that’s currently in a big boom. I’m trying to load up as much as I can while it’s so low

    I bought a handful of BAC in October at around $27. Sold them earlier this year at around $34 because I felt it was getting overvalued and I wanted to simplify my holdings.

    there's a difference between being a market timer and just throwing cash at stocks because you have it. Not saying I'm waiting for a crash- but I'm also not going to purchase when the S&P is at a new all-time high.@@justinjohnson8398

    Dividends are irrelevant on these. They are buying for price appreciation. Not going to buy stocks for 1% return when fixed rates are 5%. Makes no sense.

    MSFT dividend growth is phenomenal. Makes it a good dividend stock in my opinion, but of course share price appreciation is huge as well.

    If you are looking for income, yes. If you are looking for long term...10+ years...then it is fine in if the dividend growth rate is over 10%.

    @@Dividendology Sure, have to adjust to the times. Div Growth was better the last 4 months or so. Growth was much better though. Dividends alone was much better the 1.5 years before that.

    Do you think fixed rate is 5% for all of eternity or no? Maybe in 15 years these companies will be paying out higher dividends than interest rates. This is called investing. Not trading or arbitrage on a few points. See: Warren fucking Buffett
