This might be the dumbest political issue in America today. How is this even a problem? If someone who is not a legal tenant of the property enters without the homeowner’s permission, or if someone simply refuses to pay rent, then they should be kicked out. It’s literally that simple.

If you steal a car, you go to prison. If you steal from a shop, you go to prison. But if you steal a house, it's a civil matter? In what fucking world is this the situation?

Caesar isn’t a squatter, he is a vigilante renovator.

The only way this law would change is if people started squatting in politicians and judges houses.

I'm familiar with Andrea Suarez (the lady in the video from IHeartSeattle). She actually saved two different men I know that were homeless and in active addiction in Seattle. One was squatting, the other was living in a tent on the streets.

At that point I would just move in with the squatter if the police is are not willing to remove anyone.

I love how the cops were trying so hard to explain the situation, realized how stupid it was, then gave up.

The Star Spangled Banner over a messy legal matter is one of the most American things that I have ever seen that I began laughing.

the cop slowly realizing maybe he shouldn't have picked sides so quickly is easily the best part of this video

Imagine leaving everything behind to start off in a new country, succeed, and then have what worked very hard for be taken away from you just like that. And no politician, no official doing anything or being able to do a thing about it! It’s so infuriating!

Squat your own house. Modern problems require modern solutions.

Its a civil problem until a high official in Washington gets there house broken into and squatted in, and then they'll probably do something about it haha

It’s interesting how Tyler and his friend didn’t want to assume the 2nd guy (Steve) was guilty despite there being such clear evidence he is at fault and scamming these people. That’s because he’s a con-man and a narcissist. Every person even admitted they liked him a lot “a man of the community” “a firefighter” “we trusted him” “he showed up in a helicopter flashing money he clearly seemed to have”. This likability of him is why it’s so hard to take theee guys down, the public loves him because he’s a narcissist and a con man, 1 million followers is a huge deal. How do you take down a criminal that is so well-loved and to a judge/jury could be seen favorably even tho he’s clearly wrong.
