Not an exaggeration to say that Mariah is one of the best things to happen to the studio!

Thank you so Mariah and Andrew for featuring us and our A.I. grilling! Making applications of A.I. accessible, beginner friendly, and affordable is key 👊!
I understand making this a studio channel video, but I think this could’ve been a main channel video 100%. Mariah is a natural host and this video had all the polish of a normal MKBHD production.

I thought the main channel already has a host. And this channel was created also because main chanel has only one host. What I want to say is that all other hosts of The Studio channel are also very good hosts.

The main channel is called MKBHD (Marques Brownlee) after…the guy. It’s exclusively for him to host, it has nothing to do with how polished the content is. This channel was literally created for hosts like Mariah. Your comment has good intent but makes absolutely no sense.

Only Marques hosts on the main channel the channel is literally called Marques Brownlee, nobody else will host on that channel. That’s why the Studio channel was created.
Her hosting setup gets wonderfully wilder as the video progresses. From a well lit set, to her desk, to a standing mic video overlay that moves around and rotates. 😂 Great video and great topic!
Mariah killed it. The whole time I was just thinking, she is so good at transitions, info pacing, speech accuracy... Literally everything!! That's an excellent video. Probably best studio video in this year by a mile.
This video is freaking amazing! Love seeing Mariah do her thing! The delivery of the info was a highlight but not THE highlight. the way this was edited and the videos thrown in with her and the green screens and all about the visuals were awesome! Thank you studio for sharing your talents with us.

As a retired executive chef, I find this fascinating. I think it’s an inevitability in chain style restaurants where style, creativity and intelligence are not required, but I don’t think Chef’s, freestanding restaurants and creativity will ever go away.
MARIAH!! just... wow. blown away by the editing, the style, literally everything. you need to cook more often!! *chef's kiss*🤌
This might be just me, but honestly part of the charm of a Chipotle for me is the super nice and friendly staff that assemble my food. I know a lot of people don't give a shit and just want their food, but to me, I genuinely feel nicer after checking out of Chipotle. Besides, interacting with a human just feels... less dystopian...

That was both super well done, arguably one of the best videos on The Studio to date. Also, umm...did I count 5 meat-cooking devices in Andrew's backyard?
The editing style for this video from Peter McKinnon to TV news channels to tik tok videos. 🤣🤣🤣
really appreciate the editing style in this. still maintains the quality of a studio video, but with the silliness of the internet (subway surfer stream? lol) hope to see more like this!

Oh man, this one brought my memories back! I'm a food technologist turned filmmaker and I can't be happier enough to see someone discussing about food tech so passionately on a relatively big tech-based KZread channel. Thanks Mariah, and the team at The Studio.
Mariah is a natural 💯 Presentation and editing was smooth af
Mariah has this real authentic presence, she makes video's like this work. I think we want and need more of her in this format.
Some random ideas: (1) a series on tech which focuses on things that actually improve your quality of life - tech that makes you happy and improves your relationships (or where the absence of tech is good - tech you don't need) (2) a tech-for-introverts series - tech which helps you keep a low profile in your life but also helps bring you out of your shell every so often (3) tech for pet lovers series - make sure you include all the pets of the Studio crew on a regular basis and show their relationships with their pets to give us more of an insight into their real personalities. Basically do anything which let's you comfortably be you and shows off your lo-fi vibe!
Have you seen the Thermomix? Not completely automated but it saves time
I LOVE that this channel allows other team members to host videos about topics they care about. It‘s fantastic.

Mariah absolutely killed this. she’s a natural host. the voice, the pace, the facial expressions im actually a huge fan more than i already was before! more Maria videos please!!!!! 🙏
Loved this video!! so cool and great to see the production
I love the studio so much for giving everyone the opportunity to talk about tech they are passionate about. Editing and presentation is amazing on this one. And that Nymble thing almost reminded me of 3D printers. Just with loading ingredients instead of filaments. Amazing.
AMAZING video Mariah. Love the mix of geeky tech with how it influences the world around us (which is the more interesting part for me) hope to see more deep dives like this!
So interesting! Thank you Mariah for making this. I need more!
This gives me "Answer in Progress" vibes AND BOY AM I HERE FOR IT 👌
this is honestly the best tech channel right now, such a brilliant and entertaining variety of content, all of which is super informative and well produced.
I had a great time watching this video while also learning bunch of new tech that I didn't knew. Thank you for this quality research and presentation.
this might be one of my fav videos ever from the Studio! LET HER COOK MORE!
Love the format , the editing is well done , info is clear . Love it
From presentations, editing and effects just brought the natural MKBHD plus more. Great 👍 work team. Let's cook
Mariah is definitely the most down to earth and least ‘tech bro’ of the bunch, and I love to see it! Let her host more videos!!!
Don't watch The Studio too much and first time I've seen Mariah - love her energy, enthusiasm and tongue in cheek editing/filming jokes like the fireplace!
Mariah is getting her own spinoff? HUGE if true.
0:43 - You see a lot of this in Japan now, and especially during and after covid, a lot of restaurants there have pivoted to putting their products into vending machines.
Really enjoyed the video style and the video itself. I noticed this in the last video about FujiFilm X100VI too and the one on keyboards. Refreshing to see the different style of videos that this channel brings as compared to mobile reviews which are getting pretty standard in terms of format and style.
Great video Love it Thumbs up Mariah Love to see more of this❤
6:38 The funny thing about this kind of automation is that it automates the fun part and least technically demanding task* of cooking the final preparation and adding spices to taste, and not the tedious and more technically challenging part of cleaning and cutting and otherwise prepping the ingredients. Actually the two things I personally would want as an improvement in the kitchen is having onion cut (and I mean cut, not blended by a food processor) fresh but without the crying; and some kind of stove that allows me to sit in front of it comfortably (because my hyper mobile joints makes standing and stirring for long very painful) and without it being very dangerous somehow (because I could imagine having a heating hob on a table with my legs underneath would be pretty dangerous if I was also able to bump the pot and spill all over my lap; so this invention would have to somehow prevent me from being clumsy too). Though I could probably fix both problems without any high tech stuff at all; a fume hood with a good extractor fan would fix the onion tears; and a stove top on a bench and an insulated and waterproof apron and a barstool would fix the painful standing problem. (* unless of course your main issue with cooking is getting distracted and forgetting things on the stove; which I can appreciate as I have ADHD. But it's not a big issue for me because cooking is also an autistic special interest for me, so I actually quite rarely mess up things by forgetting and burning stuff.)
I watched this right after a Cleo Abram video and the Huge if True reference threw me off for a sec 😂
As always you guys kill with your videos. Love seeing you guys having fun and sharing your interest too!
Lets go The Studio!!
Really enjoyed this video, I remember seeing Mariah talk about the food hall in CES and thought that would be something interesting to learn more about - this video certainly did that wonderfully! Can't wait to see what's next
No joke one of the best yt vids ive seen a while. Amazing job
2:04 - a lot of restaurants in China are doing this now, at least in the bigger cities that are still surviving. A lot of restaurants in China now that are in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th tier cities are struggling to survive and many closed up shops due to their economic downturn.
Great video. Everyone loves food and everyone here loves tech. More food tech, and more Mariah on hosting duty, would be excellent.
Okay, I was so locked in. This video was GREAT! Love the effort and information. More Mariah, more in depth Studio videos! Definitely would be here for a follow up!
Hook was so great
Really love your style of videos. Actually quite calming. Somehow takes me back to 2007 when I was happy.
Yay... Lord Mariah's content is here🎉
The problem every device that handles food has is that you need to clean it pretty much after every use which is always more annoying than cleaning simple kitchen utensils. So unless an automated kitchen device can prepare meals for me that are so extraordinarily tasty that I could never prepare them myself, it’ll always be easier to just cook yourself and clean simple utensils.
As said before, pace and editing on this video are awesome!!! Great job Mariah and crew!
As a chef and a culinary instructor tis is fascinating and scary at the same time. Hospitality industry is a great career, summer job, college job, part time job etc. I hope this comes along nicely but not to far. Great video as always

There is no … soul in food prepared by robots
@bhumikpatel9602
Ай бұрын
It's also true whenever u are not cooking
@VMYeahVN
Ай бұрын
There's no "soul" in food prepared by humans either, just greater variability in ingredients and preparation techniques or the ability to improvise that robots can't do yet. Those things are adaptability skills, intelligence, the human understanding of food chemistry outside of a beat for beat recipe, and product availability. Not "soul". I know everybody loves romanticizing the human ability, and that's great and all. But i personally prefer to give credit to the things that actually cause it. We aren't magical beings, that's actually what makes us great.

The Brisk It is just a pellet smoker with a chat bot. Most other smokers that have wifi have many of those same features. That said, $999 isn't crazy either in the smoker world. You can get cheaper for sure, but you can also pay twice as much depending on how serious you are, material used, and size.
@Manganellia1
Ай бұрын
We kept it short for that segment and it's definitely right along the price range of some other Wi-FI smokers that some people might trust the brand of more. I do think the chat bot takes it one step further for people newer to trying out smoking something and I hope that it can be tweaked a bit to cater to those people as well. One thing I was honestly surprised by was the build quality. I totally expected this to be the like bottom tier Home Depot build materials with AI being the selling point, but it's way sturdier and feels worth the price tag. One thing that Brisk It claims the Weber/Traeger doesn't have is the cooking graph which I actually think is such a nice thing for the app. I was a moron and had my notifications silenced one night and when I woke up my pellets were empty. Normally seeing your temps being down overnight you have to make the decision of tossing what you were cooking in case it's been in the danger zone for hours, but instead I opened up the cooking graph and saw that it had only been out for maybe 20 minutes and the internal temp was still a solid number so I could fire it back up without being worried.
Great upload, this type of video deserves its own channel
WAAAAAW, it puts things together!!! OMG, so useful!
Love the video, so many funny Easter eggs and moments haha
Great video! Would love to see more cooking tech videos for us kitchen gadget geeks. The GE indoor smoker would be an interesting one to look at as I haven't seen any big reviewers examining a pretty crazy gizmo. (Real smoked meats! In the comfort of your home! With a catalytic converter in the machine!)
Love the video approach, more of this please!!!!
This is a good format. I like it. Host did really great too. More please!
I know this was about cooking not baking and about something not super specific, but first thing that came to my mind was a bread machine. They have it down pretty well too just throw in the ingredients in an order. I think everything that's involved in cooking as well as the art of it is very complex to automate. So many things could go wrong: amount of spices, things staying dirty, it missing one spot that it's supposed to stir and it burns; Stirring to much so it doesn't cook. Many steps have to do with the smell or look of something and that could change depending on what it is. There is preference involved as well.
This was a well produced video and got me interested in home kitchen automation. Hopefully more to follow when appliances finally release for home use.
What the heck......I didn't even know this was "The Studio"! Thus autoplayed after a Cleo Abram video. I was like wow this is a pretty great channel. I should subscribe....what!?! I'm already subbed?😅
Fresh food is healthier than anything precooked… Plus, is a very human thing to do. Never ever to be replaced fully by anything. Period.
Mariah is a fantastic host... it's all soo natural to her. Becca from TheVerge vibes! More please!
Mariah is a natural at this! Very interesting video! :)
Heej, you should check out check out facilities for people with a disabilitiy and have a look what they have there. The reason why I am saying this is because I am disabled and i'm making use of a cooker (the place where put pans and cook meals) that can switch in hights. The same with the oven. It does not have tech savy, it just has to be practicle to use.
Mariah sounds like they've veen narrating professionally for a decade already wow!
Been looking forward to this video, great work!
Great vid! Our days are stretched thin and often there is little time left to actually cook our meals. There’s groceries, prep, cook, cleaning… and then you’re left with a few meals before you have to repeat it all again. It’s amazing if you measure how much you spend on all these tasks on a weekly basis, which shows there is a significant market for shaving down this time while also making healthy and affordable meals that you can’t get at most fast food spots. This is why meal prepping is the way to go for me. I would still love to cut down on the time and better check your main points to save more time in my day while keeping the food healthy and tasty. I wouldn’t mind spending $1k for those products if they truly fit my lifestyle and food preferences. They’d be used multiple times a week and if I enjoy them, I’d really be getting a big return on investment as they’d save hours each week, which would certainly add up
Imagine a future where you can play overcooked and have a finished meal served to you at the end
Such a good video ! Love Mariah as a host ❤
We need the studio tour of 2024 >>
Man, if I could have a prep robot to peel and chop stuff (garlic, my god..). A 'I want this much of this spice freshly ground' robot, and a oven that had a rice button and a 'shit mate come back its burning' warning. That would do
