It’s like a Beatles rubber soul or revolver every song on this album is pretty short and sweet and has a ton of replay pop value to them , knowing how to write songs like this because of their love for Beatles and beach boys and others is so well executed

This video influenced me to go see them last night at a whim, and they absolutely swept house! The venue was packed and there were no seats and everyone was just jumping around so excited as they were playing their hearts out, really just something else. They ended on Good Vibrations and I've never seen so many actual teenagers get hyped over a Beach Boys song

I'm so tempted to maybe go see them in Milwaukee when they come in October. It's not far from us but we probably wouldn't bring the kids so that introduces a whole logistical thing to it. If only they would come to Madison!

I haven't finished the interview, but these guys seem like very nice and bright guys. I've been going through their catalogue and it's been nothing but rewarding. Great duo. I have a feeling these guys will only being getting more popular.

Me too! And I'm just back from seeing them in Jersey City! I hadn't heard of them a few months ago and now I'm a diehard fan. They were so great. Man, such.a great show. So tight, so full of energy and. such a lush sound. And you know what they closed with? "Good Vibrations!" I mean, talk about a bold choice! And they nailed it.

I don't know why I've been sleeping on these guys. I heard a song of theirs several years ago and wasn't totally impressed, so I filed them away in the "maybe I'll check them out later" section of my brain. But I listened to their new album today and holy shit. I've been missing out! Now I have a whole catalog of music to go back and explore, so thank you for that. They're very clever and charming and remind me a lot of how artists used to be in the 60s and early 70s before music became so infected by cynicism. A more innocent time I suppose.

Elliot, you do an excellent job of letting the two engage with each other and not interrupting. Wonderful technique that others should emulate.

I've been OBSESSED and also worried that I had set my expectations too high for the new LP. What a gem it is. On the shoulders of giants they surf, harmonise, dance, sing and captivate us. It's so weird being 32 and feeling I just played one of the best records I've ever listened to.

Absolutely fantastic interview, my appreciation for these guys grew so much throughout this conversation. Loved hearing them talk about the influence Foxygen had on them-that band might be over now, but I really love the way Rado took them under his wing and essentially passed them the torch. He's gotta be so proud of these guys and the creative peaks they've reached. I dunno it just feels really wholesome the way their legacies are intertwined. Got a lot more thoughts but I'll leave it there, you absolutely nailed it Elliot great job!!

Your first video got me into their music, great to see this. Thanks for making videos.

Great interview Elliot! Love this band and love your channel, man. It’s really great. I just picked up the new album on vinyl and bought tickets for their show in Boston.

OMG - world's collide! You're one of my go to channels on all thing Beatles and The Lemon Twigs are literally their heir apparent! Great interview. They guys are incredible. I listened to Everything Harmony it based on the review and I can't stop listening to them. I feel sorry for the rest of my music question, its being ignored.

I’ve never heard of The Lemon Twigs but this was an interesting watch and I will def check out the album. I was struck by what they were saying about ‘Now and Then’… I love the track and my favorite part is that Paul didn’t include the original bridge. That was the worst part of the demo for me, not to mention that the lyrics wouldn’t make sense now (we‘ve already lost them.) The new bridge is my favorite part. With the slide guitar, the strings, and the old Beatles harmonies, it’s overwhelming. Good interview.
