Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This KZread channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.
If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

Rick that meltdown at 6 had me laughing, not at you but at how that sums up golf so much. I think we've all been there feeling good about our golf game and were shocked at how quickly the wheels can fall off. Such a humbling game. Recently broke 75 and then followed it up with an 85 😀

This hits so close to home. I didn't play a single round for the last 6-7 years, but used to play ~90 from blues. So, first time in years, managed to play a 99. I'm thinking "hey, not too bad, I didn't lose it!". Very next week, out for another round... shot a 114. I think I've found every forest I could. At least the trees were pretty.

I love when Rick gives us an in depth explanation of something we’ve just seen happen a few seconds ago.
Really enjoy Guy on these videos, great duo
Enjoy Break 75 videos very much. Can totally relate to the pitching ups and downs!!! Keep it up!
Such a relatable episode Rick, thank you! I have to remind myself to keep taking the positives from the round. Keep up the great work!
Wow, as always, I love your content. However, this one had me a little misty-eyed. This is the course where my grandfather taught me how to play golf over 38 years ago and where I was a junior member - many, many a great memory, was spent here! I've not played this course in over 32 years, and I remember every hole. In fact, one of the many great memories was seeing my granddad scoring a hole-in-one on the 8th hole. This episode is definitely getting saved into my all time favourites, thanks Brother.
Love watching you gents play a round together. If one struggles, the other's there to bring them back up. Great pairing.
Think Break 75 is my favourite of all KZread golf content. The highs, the lows, the genuine bond between the two of you. The sneaky little inserted jokes in the edit phase are decent too. Chapeau Rick for putting yourself through the wringer and the same hat tip to Guy for being a great partner.
Thank you for these videos - The good and the bad make it great! There's no relating to people who shoot perfect every time.
Holes 6-9 is basically exactly how my golf game goes every time

Still mid way through and watching Rick struggle with the undergrowth. This is why you have 2 million followers Rick… we can all relate to days like this. Stay strong Shielsy 👊
"The Good Good lads would've been going crazy, tops off, diving into ponds and all sorts" had me cracking up 😂
Thanks for sharing this Rick. So easy to never post it but we are so grateful for everything you do and to know everyone has a bad day sometimes.
I realize that no one wants to go out and have a bad day on the course, that being said, keep that smile on your face Rick because you get to play golf for a living! That's my dream job, my friend, and you get to live it every day! Glad to see you guys still having fun throughout the round!
I like the more relaxed, early course vlog edit of #Break75 and the banter between Rick and Guy or whomever else is playing.
The break 75 is getting better and better. Loving we get to see and hear more of guy. He’s like the guru you didn’t know you needed
You’re hilarious Rick, and you and Guy are the perfect pair to make a very entertaining video. The commentary and the facial features to the funny shots are just hilarious. Keep making these Break 75 videos They are awesome. I don’t forget to do the equipment review videos also when the new stuff comes out because we love those two.
Rick, I've been watching your videos for a couple months now and I've really been enjoying them. Plus I've always loved you break 75 challenges as well. I also want to thank you big time! You content has reignited my love for golf. I've been hitting up the driving range at my local course as much as I can and today I played my first 9 holes in over 10 years!! 13:31 Next time I do a shot like that, I'll remind myself that a PGA professional, capable of scoring 20-30 shots better than me on any given round, can also sometimes do shots like that. Thanks for helping me go easy on myself Rick! Edit: Ditto the next shot! 🤣🤣

You guys seriously had fun on this episode and definitely had fun editing it. I was cracking up more than usual.
I really like the increased screen time for Guy 👍 definitely keep it like that.
I need a blooper reel off the cutting floor. You and your well-behaved self need to let us all see the "Rick cut loose" moments!
I like how youre getting better at keeping your head. Makes for much more entertaining vids and interactions with Guy are class.
LOVE this series! Especially the ups and downs (not the golf term)
The last round I played before I crushed my feet and broke my ankles I shot 73 on a par 70 course, the rough part was I was even going into the last 2 holes. O well, hopefully I can break par next year when I can play again.
Big fan of Guy being a major part of these break 75s... A lot of the time Guy would have a few highlights, a few shots; but letting us see most/all of his play, and having him talk us through his shots is great.

Hello 👋 there
Amazing video as always, Rick! True legendary golf banter!!
Great video Rick & Guy! After just coming back from Spain and playing 4 rounds of golf…2 of which we average and the other 2 were awful I can totally feel your frustration but this video did give me the laugh and pick me I needed. So thank you 😊😊😂😂 Golf is bloody hard and bloody frustrating at times! Good luck in the next episode 🤞🤞
Guy: “I’m a bog standard golfer.” Me: Tales a minute to consider what he has just heard, guy you are an amazing golfer and don’t get enough credit for it. I’d do anything to have iron striking capability like you do.
Fantastic. Love the camera shots high over the shoulder with the tracer and a few other seemingly new angles
Rick i really appreciate you taking one for the team and making the rest of us feel a bit better about our bad rounds. You have great content and i love to see it, keep it coming.
I really enjoy watching your videos because it is true to the nature of this game . Your ups and downs is what makes the content interesting, and let's face it, this is what 99.99% of what all golfers experience. Keep them coming Rick!!
Thanks for including Guy in your matches! Comeradery between friends during a social game of golf is one of the things that makes golf so enjoyable! Great content 👊
I love how Rick and Guy keep all the shots in good and bad. It strangley fills me with more confidence.
Watching Rick work through the mental game is relatable. I played yesterday focused on the good feelings and played great on the front 9 on a tough course... but lost my focus on the back 9... two many thoughts lost focus on the simple routine and feeling I was focusing on... it's really is amazing how the mind works
I know it’s Ricks break 75 series but I just love guy in these episodes he really brings that something to these course videos 👍👍👍
The quality of these videos are incredible, love these on fridays!
I love how rick and guy have eased up a little bit more! they are more goofy and i love it! great content!
Keep up on showing Guys golf content. Y’all make a great team and amazing content together

I really like watching you play these challenges Rick. As someone who relates to you really well, I also can have really good rounds AND really REALLY bad ones. I think we all can relate if I'm being honest. Like....74 or 76 or so.....OR maybe 86 or 87......it all comes down to confidence on that day. These break 75 series videos are really fun to watch.
I love when the break75 series features Guy and/or another golfers, like MinWoo. It makes each hole more interesting when you get to see it played out from multiple perspectives.
Regardless of the bits in the middle ... starting and finishing with birdies is a memorable day of golf! Great looking venue.
