My experiences and religious studies, @100huntley, has shown me how it's those with difficult lives, by the world's standards,that are often the most diligent workers concerning Spiritual matters. Mine wasn't caused by people but my own longing to "be as free as a deer" and curious to know "how, when and why" things are the way they are. It caused me to explore anything I felt no objection to do from within myself. Of my mother's 5 children I received more punishment than the other four combined because of my curiosity. However, as a 6 or so month old baby I heard an audible voice, maybe God, tell me "you may as well be content, no one is coming to get you" that I obeyed and received praise from my mother when she came and praised me for not crying. God uses the words, “us & our” in the OT in the creation of man. He’s different and greater than angels. And lastly, the trinity and Christ’s eternal existence are demonstrated in the Old Testament: Isaiah 48:16 “Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. Please pray for me. I want to give up! I have been put down and called names all because of my poor financial situation even by my own family. I lost my job because I refused the vaccine. I refused due to my already failing health. Heart disease and lupus. I get so much hate on KZread simply for asking for prayers it’s horrifying. As christian’s we should be able to cry out to one another and ask for prayers or just a shoulder to cry on. I have been struggling to provide for myself and my two autistic children both are non verbal. Taking care of my boys is my life but it’s overwhelming because they are special needs. My husband passed away three years ago so I’m all alone. I’m so overwhelmed! My situation already has me down, and depressed. We are facing eviction. We have nowhere to go! But I have so much faith that God will provide for me and my children. I know God loves us all. FAITH OVER FEAR!

I am sorry that you feel the need to try and hurt other people's faith. I know he lives! You of course have the right to believe in what you choose to believe. I pray God's blessings over your life. You are very loved by Jesus and I pray that you will find your way to Him.

Such an amazing story. This man could have used his past as an excuse to be a drug addict. A child molester. A woman beater. Really, anything. But he didn't. He listened to the Lord. He ministers to so many. So many people's, especially children's, lives or better because he is in it. And that just makes my heart so happy. The beginning part of his story could have easily been the beginning of some true crime documentary about a man that murdered and molested kids. Or murdered a bunch of women. That's generally how those stories begin. But he did not let Satan take over. He listened to God. And he let Him rule his life. I'm just so grateful for stories like these. Stories that prove it doesn't matter where you come from or what hell you have been through. God can and will use anybody for His glory. Hallelujah!

I received words from Jesus after I really asked . They were as follows . I will renew you, I will wipe away your tears , you are in my hands . I will carry these words in my heart into the next life . I am not suddenly perfect in any way it is all a journey and one no matter how hard it sometimes feels it is worth it .

I heard God's audible voice once. Long ago. And I can tell you, if you can imagine a 500ft giant lifting you up in his hand and speaking to you, how big his voice would be. It's kinda like that. He called my name 3 times before I realized I wasn't nuts or hearing things. Then we had a little conversation. But he's gigantic I can tell you that. Like being at a rock concert and being right next to the giant speakers. Your body litterally vibrates when he speaks.

How great is our god god gets us where we need to go to get saved,liked he did this for you.

I asked God if I can know the truth. God spoke to me too saying " how can I help you if you haven't helped yourself" that changed my life forever and that was 5 yrs ago

@@azeemahmad5918 Firstly, If you had read the bible you would know that Jesus states he is the ‘I am’ or equal to God in many places. Eg. You have seen me, therefore you have seen the Father. (Blasphemy to the Jews.) Secondly, The Quran says the Bible is true and uncorrupted as Christians are called to live by it and the Jews by the Torah. Both the Bible (Torah and Gospels) contradict the Quran and the Quran contradicts both. Finally, read the original sources rather than selected verses out of context, ask questions and seek God rather than an ideology.

@@c.w_ God is only one, and other holy creatures such are spirits and angels and prophets that can do powerful things are not Gods. Moses did amazing things, but he never said he was a god. Jesus as well. Even after the crusifiction when his desciples say: "Now you speak in no allegory, you are very direct" Jesus doesn't say "I am a god, and I am a part of trinity As for "I was before Abraham means hat he was created before Abraham. And what about before Adam? I can believe he was created before Adam as well. Also, Muhammad recited and quoted God's words. That doesn't mean he is god. And Muslims can claim that whatever Jesus had said, even if he ever said a sentence like "Lo! I am a god!" Muslims could say "He's quoting God". Actually, Jesus himself did say "I was sent by God" "Why do you call me good, because only He is good". By "He" Jesus obviously meant someone else than himself. In gazillion passages, Jesus refers to his father as somebody other than himself. Jesus also says "Me and my Father are one" I am not sure where he says "Me, My Father, and the Spirit - are one". But again, he clearly says many times that his Father is someone else. The Pharisees sought to stone him to death. Why? _“Because you, being a man, make yourself God.”_ he had declared to them “I AM” using the Holy name that God had revealed to Moses in the wilderness. He knew what he was saying. They knew what he was saying. He was sinless, performed miracles, forgave sins in God’s authority. Others worshipped him, called him God, and described him as God. He shares names with God which are reserved for God: Savior, Alpha & Omega, I AM, &etc. He was prophesied as “God with us.” He instructed his disciples to trust him equally with God. God uses the words, “us & our” in the OT in the creation of man. He’s different and greater than angels. His father calls him “God” Hebrews 1:8 Unto the Son [the Father] says, “Thy throne, O God, is forever... And lastly, the trinity and Christ’s eternal existence are demonstrated in the Old Testament: Isaiah 48:16 “Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God and His Spirit Have sent Me”

That is the reason they are sent, to show how to live the message. The context starts from verse 1 what you quote is not an isolated statement ******************************************* Did Jesus ever actually say, "If you don't believe in me you will go to hell"? I understand that when His disciples asked, "What is the way?" He said, "No one comes to the Father but through Me" (John 14:6). However, there is context here. It does not appear to be a blanket statement. For example, He obviously didn't mean it for some kid living in Ireland at that same exact night of the Last Supper. Jesus did say, "Blessed are those who believe in me" (John 20:29), but He did not say there that you are damned to hell if you don't. So did the TV series leave something out? In contrast, God does not need to be tempted and suffer in order to be able to understand and forgive man’s sins, for He is the all knowing Creator of man. This is expressed in the verse: Exodus 3:7 “And the Lord said: ‘I have surely seen the affliction of My people that are in Egypt, and I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters; for I know their pains.’” God forgave sin before Jesus’ appearance, and He continues to forgive without any assistance. When a believer sins, he may come before God in sincere repentance to receive forgiveness. Indeed, the offer to humble oneself before God and be saved is made to all humankind. Isaiah 45:21-22, “And there is no God else beside Me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside Me. Look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else.” Biblically, people can receive forgiveness of sins through sincere repentance sought directly from God. This is true at all times and in all places. There has never been a need for the so-called intercessionary role Jesus plays in attaining atonement. The facts speak for themselves. There is no truth to the Christian belief that Jesus died for our sins and salvation is only through Jesus. What about the salvation of people before Jesus? Many people solely base their Salvation on what Jesus said in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time Jesus disciples baptized anyone in water they invoked Jesus name at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16 (Paul's baptism). Peter said in Acts 4:12,"Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED." Paul said in Colossians 3:17,"And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do ALL in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by HIM." Paul said in Colossians 2:8-10,"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwells ALL the fullness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And you are COMPLETE in him, which is the head of all principality and power." Also verse 12, "BURIED with him in BAPTISM, wherein also you are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised him from the dead." The book of Acts is the most important book in the New Testament because all of it is what Jesus and his disciples said what we must do to be Saved, which is what Jesus meant in John 3:3-7, "Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 5 Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born of water AND the of Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of God. 7 Marvel not that I say unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." Being born of water is being baptized in water in Jesus name - which is for the Remission of Sins (Acts 2:38). Being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost - which is addressed in Acts 2:4 (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it happens any other way than that way. There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:2-5 is a good example. Jesus said in John 10:27,"My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."

For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They repented, were baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:38! Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life. That's what Acts 2:38 is. It harmonizes with Matthew 28:19, and all the other salvation scriptures. We can't pick and choose which scriptures we like or dislike. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOTH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT for a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures, and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOO long to be WRONG! St, John 5:39, search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS, and the other is a WORK OF FAITH or OBEDIENCE TO GOD. If I buy you a cake and tell you to come to get it, and you refuse to, then you won't have the cake even though it's been fully paid for. Christ set up the way, and we must come the way he set up to be saved or to receive it. Noah believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN WORKED OR OBEYED TO BUILD THE ARK TO BE SAVED. LOT believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN OBEYED AND LEFT SODOM. This is why Jesus said, He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. FAITH EQUALS OBEDIENCE TO GOD! All scriptures have to harmonize together.

God is not speaking to anyone in an audible voice today because we have his completed word in our possession! Believing that God speaks to individuals opens the unsaved up to the devil. The truly saved will not be targeted because they have the Holy Spirit to protect them. Think about it this way: If God spoke to some but not others, those that did not receive that extra-biblical revelation would have a legal objection against God in the judgment of favoritism only to some!

God can do whatever He pleases. He speaks to all of us. It may not be in an audible voice but it's usually through our spirit and thoughts. But He can and does sometimes speak with an audible voice directly. Some people are in such low places that it may take a direct audible voice to wake them up.

@@joeturner9219 Like I pointed out above, those God never spoke to and proved his existence to would have a legal argument in their Judgment. Take it from someone whose demons spoke to her twice back in the mid-90's but was suspicious enough to question who they were, which led her to faith in Jesus Christ. I would caution people very strongly to be wary of disembodied voices! And I've noticed that it only happens to those that have never completely trusted Jesus Christ for their eternal life.

​@@dfkuznowhere in scripture does it say God was going to stop speaking! When you become like a child and humble yourself & not put God in a man made box you just might hear Him. God still speaks!!! He wont go against His word but yess most definentky speaks through His Spirit. Ive heard Him as if He was on my right ear as well in my spirit.

Not for one minute was a "biker's life of sin" glorified. The man had been to hell and back (-yes, figuratively speaking -) and was talking about how God helped him.

@@stevecrump1375 If you are talking about the "sordid details" of the poor man's survival story, having been raped as a child, you will have no empathy for a man who has tattoos and rides a motorbike, perhaps. But other people do. And it helps other people who have suffered various trauma to hear from a man who has suffered and survived terrible trauma. A different story with your opinions on "fake mega churches". I often admire the testimonials of the people interviewed on this programme.

@@stevecrump1375 He's not trying to sell us something, or give away a trinket for your gift of over a million dollars. He's a man who has had a torrid past, who went on to, sadly, do some damage to himself, who God has brought great strength and comfort to. I'm sorry you're annoyed with "fake mega churches", but he is just sharing his personal story. And regarding his attire, he might be the nicest man you'll ever meet. You know as well as anyone, it would appear, that there are some pretty sly characters out there who are well groomed and wear blue and beige suits to church.

Fun fact: Jesus is a fictional character.

I am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior." Hosea 13:4 "Thou shalt know no God but me, for there is no savior other than me." Isaiah 45:5 "I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God." Exodus 20:2 and Deuteronomy 5:6 “You shall have no other gods other than me". Isaiah 44:6 "I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God." Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind." Deuteronomy 6:4 God specifically stated that he is one: "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one." God does not change: Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not. Isaiah 42:8 "I am the Lord; that is My name! I will not yield My glory to another." Isaiah 7:14 prophesied that the messiah's name will be Emmanuel. But Emmanuel is not one of the many New Testament names of the Bible figure commonly known as Jesus. It is Biblically impossible for Jesus to be the messiah. Matthew 1:12 lists Jeconiah (also known as Jehoiachin or Coniah) as Jesus' ancestor, and God states in Jeremiah 22:30 that descendants of Jeconiah are cursed and that no ancestor of Jeconiah will ever sit on the throne of David (heaven) or ever rule in Judah.
