I started drinking at 14, by the time I was 28 I was unable to hold a job because alcoholism if you let it will turn you into a 24hr drinker it's a disease that wants you dead, Jesus saved me too I called on his name when I for the first time didn't want to drink and I was hit with something so amazing right there and then all my anxiety and everything vanished in the blink of and eye and I had a feeling inside and all around me that everything was going to be OK, that happened on the Friday night I then woke up on the Sunday with a thought so powerful and a feeling that I couldn't get rid of that was telling me GO TO CHURCH TOM, I was baptised in the holy spirit two weeks after going on that very Sunday for the first time I'm still there now Jesus Christ is King of Kings he will do it for you and I pray more addicts come to jesus Amen

Amen! I was a binge drinker for 19 years-age 14-33. Crazy part is I didn’t even know I had a drinking problem. This was a generational curse that passed down. Happy to say I have 3 years sober and couldn’t be happier. God works in mysterious ways and I didn’t understand why my life was falling apart, but in reality God was purging all the toxic people, places and things that no longer served me. ✨🙏🏼

WOW. I know exactly what he’s talking about. When I was in active alcoholism I could NOT get to sleep with out drinking myself to sleep because I was so scared and could feel the demonic heaviness in the room. I thought I was the only one that went through this. The feeling of being watched, feeling the covers being pulled if I nodded off to sleep or feeling a breath in my ear or bangs on the wall. I could NOT peacefully get to sleep with out being drunk. And these things would tell me “just drink/just get drunk and you can sleep/you’ll be able to get to sleep if you have some drinks”. It was pure hell and I was scared every night so I would get drunk enough to pass out or pick up some guy from the bar to stay with me for the night so I didn’t have to be alone and scared. What a way to live, right? So glad Jesus has me now♥️

Bro I love these. You can tell Jon is a cool wise dude. And I know the channel is dedicated to testimonies and that’s awesome, but I noticed Jon said how he and his wife got together is a whole other story… I’d love to hear that! Maybe divinely appointed marriage testimonies could be a subsection for your channel? Christ centered of course but it’s just something I haven’t seen and something I think single people would be interested in hearing. Or at least I would. Idk I just thought I’d share that. Either way, keep it up these are EXTREMELY well made 🔥🔥

My daughter just died of alcoholism 3 weeks ago. Drinking over 20 years, refused to admit she had a problem, refused all help, hospitalized. 2 x a year ago and went back to drinking in 7 months. Left a 13 year old son for me to raise alone. Went to church a few times, obviously didn’t receive Jesus as her savior! Lived with me all her 41 years, free , I went to same church weekly different time. Can’t understand it. Refused to admit she had a problem and refused all help. Drank in secret in her room. But I've thought about it and I think it means that he could have chosen to stop preaching and teaching about life and love or ran away and not been crucified, but he chose to keep teaching despite knowing that the powers that be would be foolish and do that. But just have a couple if you need to and pray and do other stuff you enjoy and just stop on will power. People who are drinking a pint or two a day of liquor are who might die if they stop cold turkey. There is also medicine and doctors who can assist an alcoholic to stop, like have special training an knowledge about it. Can get help and supervision. My best advice is have a few if you feel you need to, then have less the next time, and then take a break as long as you can or stop completely, if you take a break a guarantee the next time you try to drink a beer it will be unappealing or just like wow I can't believe I could drink a lot of these at once. Anyway good luck my friend you can absolutely do it, find support if you need it, much love.

I didn't understand where you said a black guy used to help you. Did he not have a name and what did the fact that he was black have to do with anything. I think you might need to correct that. I found it offensive.

Ask the Holy Spirit why you're offended. Remember, Jesus said, If your enemy curses you, bless them. If you're offended, it means there is offense in you. You won't find any Godly person in the Bible offended.

The man being black had nothing to do with it. Some people don’t realize what they are saying. I’ve done it myself. Sometimes I say “this asian guy helped me” or “and I met this german girl on the bus”. It’s a habit that is hard to get rid of.
