I have TWO different wardrobes?!
Hiya!!!
Sorry for the quick little short video this week - didn't have the oppurtunity to film long but still wanted to connect with you guys.
So please let me know - do you also have two different wardrobes for summer and winter?
And if you are someone who tends to be more monochromatic, how does that change with the seasons? if at all?
Thanks for watching!! And let me know what you think about possible patreon and other ideas like that!
Thanks for watching !!

I wear old school sweet, punk, gothic, and classic, so it's all black all the time; i think i have a only a handful of main pieces in red, one in navy, and one in ivory. it's all meant to be intereoperable, and i tend to have winter and summer stylings for most of my pieces (except for chiffon, velvet, and wool, because they're just not suited for certain times). i also get spoopy year round, haha
i wear old school in the winter and country in the summer :)
My friend and I we are calling our wardrobe the rainbow wardrobe because we both own piece in almost every colors. So obviously some colors and fabric are more suitable for hot or cold weather. For me it's so much about a shift in style but more about different pieces along the year.
I'm a goth who wears gothic lolita and I focus on lighter thinner fabrics in summer/spring, rather than changing colour palette or sub style.
That's a good question! While I tend to gravitate towards certain colors and fabrics in certain seasons, ultimately my wardrobe doesn't change a whole awful lot between seasons. Yes, there are garments that are inherently more wintery or summery, but the idea that some colors are "inappropriate" for certain seasons is silly to me; if I want to wear bright pastels in winter, I damn well will (and have, and I'll do it again!)
your curls are sooo pretty!!
I wear goth and alt fashion outside of Lolita as well, I have seasonal items and all year items and I switch out the seasonal ones in spring and fall. I still mostly wear black even in summer, but the fabric and silhouettes change!
In the winter, especially when it's cold inside as well and it's been mostly overcast days for a while, I start thinking about typical summer lolita stuff.
As a newbie I don’t plan on having many different colors in my wardrobe. But I do plan on having more casual stuff for summer and spring and more “put together” looks for winter. That being said I do plan on doing mostly oldschool black and tartan with a couple of brightly colored pink pieces for starting out.
Re: Patreon stuff, I was actually looking to see if you had a Patreon or a Kofi last month! I would defiantly join but no pressure obviously!
Every sensible person: you should wear velveteen in the winter
I really like this eye makeup♡
I wear sweet for the most part so I definitely like to match my print themes to the season. I like fruits and florals in spring/summer, I like gothic and darker sweet prints in fall/winter. And I think a Patreon is a good idea!
I find I tend to lean more towards certain fabrics through out the year. Like Polyester dresses in the spring and fall, cotton and chiffon for summer and velveteen for winter. It's not a hard or fast rule just more of how much will I sweat.
Love jewel tones with black with gothic! But I definitely whip out the classic coords in the spring for sure! And oh my god do a Vlog!!!
Haha I have no seasons.. All I can say is my usual wardrobe lands to be autumn looking, and when I want to feel like summer I wear yellow!
Can I bother you and ask what you wig is called LOL
Get rid of them both and start a cult.
