Truthfully it has a 1960’s mod feeling to it. Very classic with an edge. I don’t hate it. As far as your brows, I think most of us can empathize with it. Don’t feel any type of way about it. You are a beautiful woman.

Except.... Her eyebrows were BLEACHED and she completely ignored that... And filled them in dark without even asking 🙄

It's giving early 2000's primary school disco & the single blue eye shadow I begged my mum to buy me for said disco 🤣 just missing the blue mascara!

The juicy drama ones are my favorite. They always get so sassy. 🤣

I would give her a good rating. I think the make up looks good for a “non professional “ MUA. I like this style make up so it’s just a small opinion but it’s not terrible! The eye brows worried me at first but they turned out good

Lol, I thought the same thing... She didn't see they were bleached and thought Hmm, maybe she doesn't like her dark eyebrows 👀.... But just paints them black anyway.... And I don't get what is W these "make up artists" that charge for a service they clearly can't do. Why BLUE and GREEN?? I went to cosmetology school, but I'd never charge full price for a service I can't do. If I'm learning, I'd do it for free, tell them I'm learning and have another experienced stylist supervise or check in... Then move to half off when I get a little better, then go up from there. These people have the audacity to charge full price and it looks like they went to Bozos Big Top School of Clownery to learn their make up skills. We work hard for our money, & most people only have these add on services as an extra treat here and there.... Just to look like a cheap lady of the night version of a 1982 Barbie. It's ridiculous 😂😂

And just to add... I know a lot of people will say oh she's sweet, she's learning (the heart video, I seen that almost every comment) Sweet and Nice does not equal qualified, especially to take someone else's money for a service they can't give. Do you want a Dr that's sweet and nice? Or do you want a Dr that knows his stuff and maybe isn't the friendliest Dr on the planet? I'll take garbage bedside manner all day long if it means he's giving me my money's worth. Same W any other service. Sweet and nice is nice, but I'd prefer qualified and professional any day. Especially when it's my money their taking for a service they say they're qualified to give

I don’t mind it. I think it could be a cultural thing perhaps? Bold eyes and lips? I can imagine a south Asian or Arab woman wearing this for a special event. Also it would be great if you could let us know in the intro what brief you give each artist so we can see if they follow it or not. Thank you x

You may not like to talk about that but Julia, you are absolutely stunning with these bleached eyebrows. Also, when is the perfect time to spontaneously bleach them if not in your twenties? It's totally cool to try new things. I'm 31 and completely changed my looks multiple times in the past 16 years. I regret nothing + have great memories, and pictures. Experiment as much as you want, and don't feel ashamed about it! Hugs! 💖

Awww I bleached my eyebrows once i was intoxicated bleaching my hair and a friend suggested I did it so they matched. Walked in work with plasters on my eyebrows I was that embarrassed. A colleague took me on my lunch break to get them tinted back to my natural colour. 🤷‍♀️

Girl I love your bleached eyebrows! When I was blonde I’d bleach mine from time to time. You can always fill them in with a cool toned brow powder or even eyeshadow if you don’t want the stark blonde brow look. I think you wear them very well!

It might just be a pet peeves of mine but does anybody else hate the way this MUA holds the face brush? She holds it really close to the top part, tightening the bristles. Aaarrgh 😫😠

You must be pretty insecure to feel like people would judge you for wearing make up on the face. Like geez, this woman did not do a bad job; she just picked the wrong color for the season and situation. When she walks in she says “Whatever you want to do.” She doesn’t say “hey make sure you stay with light neutral colors because I post my videos on the internet for people to make fun of your work.” Like this woman literally worked hard on this, and you are bashing it as if it’s the worst thing you’ve ever seen. I guarantee you can’t even do glam make up if you tried. Even more, know how to blend foundation, contour , bronzer, blush and highlighter. Get off your pedestal.

I don'tmind the look at all, I agree she gave it her all and really tried and although the colours are really bold the placement was good and the shaping. So kudos to her for that. The highlight is nice too. 💜

The eyebrows, face, and that red lip looks so good on you. The blue shadow is much but always makes brown eyes pop.

I kinda like the bleached brows, they really don’t look bad with your hair, it’s so light …looks great btw. This turned lit better than I expected, her skills aren’t horrible just the questionable color choices.

Hopefully she let you take the towel with you since that was the inspiration of the color on your eyes. I don't understand why she put so much color considering it was day time and you weren't going to a disco.

I was thinking that if I still went out clubbing, I'd try to blend the eyeshadow a bit and then go clubbing in that look. But i would definitely be intimidated going around in daylight with the look. Julia is brave.

In the begining I wasn't sure but Wow! I love it! Your white hair with blue eye shadow and those blumped red lips! You are 100 % a bombshell! 😍❤

I think she did great! The teal was a bit much for summer with the red lip, but she did a great job applying and blending. :) What irks me are the people in the comments acting as if they can do make up better and if her work was terrible. I guarantee a good percentage of the people commenting “Omg I wouldn’t have walked out looking like that.” are the same people that can’t blend there own make up to save their life or find their shade. People who are literal professionals with make up wouldn’t bash another persons work. This woman did a great job blending the foundation, contour, concealer, blush, bronzer and everything. She even was great with the liner and artistic with the idea of the eyelids. She just picked the wrong color. You need to remember, this content creator goes into these salons saying “Do whatever you want.”; giving them free range. She doesn’t say “Hey, make sure you stick to safe colors because I post all my videos on KZread and have almost 15K followers that will judge and make fun of your hard work”. So please, be kind.

Lol you should see what MUA at Mac did to me an hour ago! It’s worse than yours and no foundation or concealer or anything on upper eye and blue grey eyeshadow everywhere! Julia yours looks well done, coverage seems even and eyebrows look good. From one platinum blonde to another.

I like the brows!. Good you bleached them. They blended now. This way you can paint them as you wish ( color you wish , shape you wish). And make them suit your face and eyes.

yeah it is fun to see how they do my brows now that my brows are not dark - I guess it is a true test to see someones makeup talent 😊

I don't understand the MUA's (not this one, but in general) obssession with dark brows... This one is actually not that bad, but hello, there are more shades

I think she did a good job, seemed fairly clean and she kept her cool with the weird customer complaints.

I was scared to see how dark pigment is applied to the eyebrows. Some pigments have the ability to soak into light things (especially in lightened eyebrows)

I have white hair in the front of my face and my beautician uses light brown henna to dye my brows and it looks great. Lasts for about 6 weeks. You can buy henna for eyebrows online, as well. Love your videos!

I think she did a great job, compared to some of your other vids!!! The blue eyeshadow may have been a bad color choice, but your skin looks amazing!!! Plus the eyeshadow and eyeliner looks pretty identical on both eyes, so you have to give her credit on that!

Just to add I would have gone nude lip and a transition colour on the lids from the blue so it popped but wasn't completely cocerimg the eyes. Also, the hygiene wasnt the best, not using clean brushes and her hand to match shades of foundation etc could have been done better. But she did her best so fair play.

At night that will look amazing! The colors are gorge!

It definitely isn't the worst and I quite liked the brows, just abit ott on the eyeshadow but colour suits you. Enjoy watching your videos ❤

I didn't mind the eyeshadow, but if she had blended the edges and then defined the crease rather than outlining in the darker blue, it would have been more glamorous and less "stuck on". I'd loved to have seen a more elevated look with your bleached brows featuring too, like an indigo shadow, smoked out and the bleached brows just combed with a clear brow gel, and a nude/peach blend on the lip. Blush on the tops of the cheekbones too rather than the contour for something fresh and youthful. The red lips were nice but they clashed with the look. This was a lot of makeup, and it looked painted on and heavy. If she had you sitting up it maybe would have been more equal and even.

With your eyes open and not laying at that odd angle then the eyes don’t look bad. I saw the flaws when you were laying down. The color is bold I love blue eyeshadow I knew your lip had to be a bright red too. You pull it off really well. Yes it’s dramatic, it’s not everyday makeup!

I actually like this. Ok it’s a bit over the top but technique and precision is fabulous. Gives me 60’s vibes xx
