Yeah I had that problem, I went through the entire world three times making dozens of sideways hellavators, after the fourth time I gave up and looked in TEdit and there was a single corruption sand block just lying in the bottom of hell.

Watching you slowly go insane over a magic guitar was hilarious. Also, the reason the Shimmered Golfer is a fox-man is because he's the older brother of the Zoologist, who's a were-fox. Shimmering him turns him into one, too.

18:06 I think the crafting recipe is for worlds made before shimmer was added, so legacy worlds don't need to import it from new ones. Shimmering it doesn't give you luminite back because then you could cheese it for unlimited luminite. The shimmer doesn't know where you got that shimmer bucket from.

Also for worlds that don't spawn with shimmer. It's something like a 10% chance a world dosnt spawn a shimmer

Started following this journey on September, loved every single episode, I watched them all, I even got to see one of the episodes live, it was amazing, sad to see this world come to an end, but hey, it was amazing while it lasted ❤

23:10 As a person who 'mains' summoner and has done a FTW summoner playthrough two times, I can say that summoner is a trip on its own. It starts of weak, but sharpens the players dodging skills over time and in mid hardmode almost every boss feels like easy mode. With the proper accessories and maybe even a bit of whip stacking you melt basicly every boss with ease. Anyways great series, lovely builds and awesome commentary, kerp up the work Throar!

I mentioned a couple of months ago, but I started a One Year One World challenge myself on Terraria's anniversary, but had to cancel it because OneDrive deleted all of my non cloud-saved files when I got a new computer :( Now that January has begun, I have started again to combat the evil forces of paid cloud-save subscriptions and complete the game as you have. This challenge is a simple yet unique way to play the game, and to slow my progression further I decided to do Legendary mode on For the Worthy. Glad to see the end of your challenge, and I look forward to more content in the future! :D

I found your channel back in August and despite not being here for a majority of the series, this has been an incredible journey to follow. I'm definitely excited for what's coming next in 2024. Happy New Year's everyone!

I saw this video come out and was curious, so I looked at the entire series and I was able to see the effort and quality of videos just increase per video, and really loved this series, Im barely starting the video as I type this, but either way loved the progress you made on the game and your channel

Hyped for the Calamity mod one! and this series was a blast to watch, even if i had joined in at around the mid-way point in April, watching this through to the end and joining in the livestreams at the very end of the series was a hell of a ride and i cant wait for more.

someone else might’ve said this, but the reason the shimmer bucket didn’t give you back the bars was because the crafting recipe was for people who were on a pre-1.4.4 world so they could still get shimmer, it doesn’t give you the items because you’d be able to infinitely farm it (throw a water bucket in, get a shimmer bucket, throw the shimmer bucket back in get 10 bars and the water bucket back etc etc)

Watching this a few minutes before the new year is really a nice experience to have.

Loved the journey, would still love an extra episode of you getting that achievement tho! :)

I remember the first video where my first reaction was "No way will he make it a year in 1 world!" and man was I proven wrong. Great dedication and congrats! Also for the Drill cont unit you can use the Neptune's Shell or it's upgrades to glide through water like it is air.

love the video absolutely lovely energy the video has and also i absolutely love moments when the mic clips the screams out it is truly the funniest yet also cutest thing to hear also you should probably combine all this twelve videos into a one big long video that is probably hours long and release it those kind of videos usually tend to do quite good

Been watching this series since January. Terraria will always be one of my favorite games and this series told me to finally take my time with it.

calamity hype! you have earned a sub! I came in late but now I have a whole series to watch!

I only just found this channel but I can tell the dedication in the world! As someone who's taken time with worlds in the past (tho no more than about 90 hours usually) it's cool to see someone take that mantra of taking your time to the extreme! I'm personally not a massive fan of calamity due to many reasons, but I'll be sure to tune into the run anyway

@@breadbxsket2 Based lol. I take anywhere from 50-70 hours to run through Terraria if I'm not trying, but I'm usually playing with Thorium and Eternity mode on as well lol

While watching this I was comparing your empress runs with my duke fishron luck where I had to kill him 50 times for the fishron wings which are 5x more likely to drop than the stellar tune and I found it quite funny when you got it in 51 tries to my 50
