Awe, thank you Barbara! My surgery went well and I had my stitches taken out yesterday! Next is OT starting in the morning tomorrow! I’m going to be recording a video tomorrow as soon as I can with my new camera. We had to learn about it today 😊🥴💜

I stamp with 2 others weekly, I’m the “ card doctor “. I salvage and fix most booboos, I don’t let it bother me if there’s a tiny smudge or something. I’ve bought cards that were not perfect when I sat down to send them,. To me, it just shows we are not perfect, the card was made with time and heart and means so much more to people. I don’t think recipients examine the card under a microscope…Enjoy the craft and simply do your best… it’ll be fine!!

I’m sure no microscopes are used when looking at the cards. 😂 I use to be a perfectionist, I’m getting better the road is still long. 🥴 Do you do videos? If so I’d like to see them. @@tebusinvestigativecardmaki1832 no I’m in Ohio. Usually go down once a year to visit her. A few years ago when there was a bad fire down there we high tailed it with chainsaws. You could see the fire right in front of her house but it never got down to her subdivision. Beautiful area.

Hello TeBu, first time of watching and have subscribed so I can catch more of your fun video makes. Will be making this card but will cut out one layer.....Will cut the contrast strips using the straight border die with stitching. Will very lightly mark centre square and glue stitched strips around the marked square. Thanks for not editing out any bits, gives hope to the fumble thumbed like me 🤗 regards from the UK 🇬🇧

I haven't tried this yet but just looking at it i was wondering if you could just cut strips and glue them in place,as shown, and still do a focal without glueing "on the ditch" so to say. Know what I'm saying?

Oopsie! I’m sorry Barb I thought I put them in the description “box” below the video. Here are the measurements: Card Base: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored @ 4 1/4” (2) Layers: both are 4” x 5 1/4” The strips are either 1/8” or 1/4” your preference. I used the stitched shaped die’s second largest and 3rd largest ( Barb Im typing this by semi-memory so refer to the video regarding the squares) I hope this helps. If not I will repost after my surgery which is today so please give me a bit to do that. Hopefully I will have it done before leaving. Thank you for letting me know. I usually forget to do that. I humbly apologize. 💜🥴
