I spent an entire morning fishing the YAMATANUKI and caught them shallow and deep. Pike and Bass were both trashing it. Pretty cool bait.

I threw everything I had.....end of the day , I tied this one , nailed 2 bass in minutes

Mad respect for you towing in not 1 but 2 boats in the same couple of hours. I have been towed a few times myself ( once on Guntersville) and have towed 1 person in. It's a crappy feeling when you can't get that motor running.

Maybe even better in many ways. I also respect the way you treat Bog the dog. You show genuine care for Bogs safety and comfort. I hope you have a productive and prosperous summer. I’m a California bass fisherman in my mid seventies and have seen many guys come and go…. 9:00 I use Owner Beast 4/0 or Magnum Swimbait Hook 3/0 with large Owner CPS centering pin spring, I can catch up to 10-15 fish on one yamatanuki with this setup

"today we are going to go fishing, no shit right" i don't know why but damn that was funny.

Another great video! I have been pitching the Yamatanuki and punching through light cover and duckweed without any weight. Super cool deal. It's something they've never seen and they munch it.

I bought a pack and has been awesome under docks and on weed edges here on the chick. But, they don't last long have only gotten three on one. The rest have been lucky to get two fish before it was destroyed. I do love the action and skip ability.

It's the dog days of summer already in South Florida so switching to worms - Texas rigged, wacky rigged, and Ned rigged. I also need to start using the drop shot on ledges next 😉

I also need to throw a Yamamoto D Shad, nekp rigged with a 1/16 or 1/32 oz nail weight again for those lethargic bass 😉

Tech tip on the “Tahdooky” put an O-ring on the top then put the hook in because one fish and the top blows outta that thing!

The thing is I've tried to bring him out a few times during the summer and then he looks at me when he's on the boat like why did you bring me out here LOL it's a thousand degrees outside

I've gotten where I pretty much ignore suspended or busting fish because they just ignore whatever I throw. But jigs and big wormin'? Oh yeah! Caught my biggest so far this year (north of 8 lbs) dragging a jig the day before yesterday in about 25 feet of water.

I picked up a couple bags of Yamatanuki’s at 44 couple weeks ago. Saw a boil in the pads and caught a 2lb er on my very first pitch with one. Fish are like wtf is dat? Me eats it!

Mikey, do you have any issues with interference running dual Active Targets? I seem to be getting a "pulsing wave" on the lower Scout Mode transducer and can't seem to get it to go away.

In just experimenting with it I really haven't had any issues I do see a little bit of the beam Shadow on my Forward scan when I'm running both at the same time. I'm still waiting on that third graph so I can run it continually and get a better feel.

I have literally slayed them on the yamatanuki this year in fact I shouldn't even say anything

I have tried that tama2nookie in three different colors. Ain’t caught a damn thing on it yet!!!! Thanks for not making me feel so bad on NOT catching any on it. If Mikey doesn’t catch anything on it, it must not work on the Tennessee River 😁👍👍

Hover rig for the suspenders maybe? No thermocline in Virginia yet so I have not tried it. Don't think I will try the new Yammy. I love the Fat Ika so much, would be hard to replace that.
