I HAVE BLOOD WHEN I WIPE!! A hemorrhoid tutorial

Is it hemorrhoids or is it cancer?? Let me give you a few tips to guide you one way or the other - maybe you can try some over-the-counter solutions before needing to get a colonoscopy. But if you're 50 years old and never had a colonoscopy (or with a family history of colon cancer younger than 50), you're out of luck - get that colonoscopy!

You are a lifesaver. I almost ran out of breath when I saw blood on the toilet paper for the first time in my life in my 20s. I had no idea what was happening and started panicking, so I began digging the internet to figure out why and what could be the cause. Fortunately, it turned out to be hemorrhoids caused by heavy lifting while gyming and passing hard stool. Thanks to you for explaining and listing things in details, making it so easy to understand without any pressure or stress.

Im one of those people who get frequent fissures and also had hemorrhoids at 32....luckily I got it checked because I had 1 small little tumor 6mm turned out to be Carcinoid cancer....it was plucked out 5yrs ago and Ive been good ever since....I still get bleeding here and there and videos like this reassure me....My last colonoscopy was 3yrs ago so Ill get another routine again....but I read carcinoma polyps take 10 to 15yrs to develop......where as carcinoid is indolent and could take 20yrs before it grows large enough to even spread.

LOL omg the casket searching made me laugh so hard. I also was dealing with a very bad situation down there for about two weeks until it finally burst on Friday. I been relieved of so much pain, which I immediately felt like I could live again. Then about an hour ago I had a BM after not having one for about 2 days. and I noticed blood was dripping and coming out as I whipped. I started to think I was going to bleed out. I have terriable anxiety and started reaching online and turns out "I may have colon cancer" which drove my anxiety even higher. After a minutes of telling to calm myself down. I stumbled across this video and now I'm so relaxed listening to this doc explain everything. I wish more doctors were like her, I had to go to the ER twice because of the pain, and everytime they told me to just "ride it out". I will def be calling my PCP in the morning and letting her know my situation.

This happens to me every few months. Usually when I eat way too much and end up trying to poop out a brick of a turd and it breaks my butthole (fisher). Dealing with one right now actually. It usually takes a few weeks to heal because every time I take a poo I rip open the wound again. Usually try to take some fiber supplements to soften things up to not tear the wound every time I go to the bathroom. It sucks!

Same with me. Used to only happen to me every 4 months out of the year starting 13 years ago, but now it is more often because I don't drink enough water during the day and I get constipated hard to pass stools. Also, I was an avid cyclist sitting on those skinny seats and riding 40 to 60 miles at a time. I didn't have this problem until after I started cycling. I think I did a number on my anus from all the riding.

Hi from Australia, I love you doctor, Im 56 and have in and out hemorrhoids and get a little blood when wiping. I am putting a stool sample in so I have that covered but I didnt want to go to bed thinking I am dying. God Bless you and I always tell people to stay away from doctor Google.

Same thing happened to me. To prevent in my opinion from getting constipation by keeping hydraded and eating your oatmeal fiber. Do some kegoel exercizes.
