Yep back in the 70's that was the thing , Hammer Down in the Monfort Lane was the Talk.. When I started my Career in the mid 70's above the 49th.. In the Midnight Hours I'd be finished my day and Deadheading back to the Barn.. Running across the Main Highway little or no traffic , only the ones that stayed for Last Call.. A Pair of Team Drivers on with Kwikasair blew right Past me like I was Parked...

The human body is not designed to take that abuse. Those old trucks beat the hell out of you . Loud and hot . Enjoy the videos stay safe ✌️

You never said it, maybe you didn't top it. Yes, I can see why any one would want to stay in that region, open spaces everywhere to park,, and light traffic, is really great for First Class, low wear and tare. Good video... Opi looking good 🥰

When I was on a team truck we would run pharmaceuticals from Pennsylvania to Las Vegas then deadhead to California for sensitive produce back to Pennsylvania. Each driver did 650 miles a day (1,300 total daily) only stopped for fuel and 30 min break. We would run 8 weeks straight and then 1 week off. Could only do it for a year before going solo. That was my good ole days for me. Money was great but it took a toll on the family
