I was temporarily assigned by the state office I worked for to the Dodge City /Garden City area for several months. The average daily wind in good weather was 35 mph. I learned to Never try to open my hamburger with a car door open. Or you get a catsup mustard plastic wrap immediately blown into your face. LOL. 😆

That plaza makes awesome pies great place to sleep if you’re heading westbound and don’t feel like dealing with the chicken coop.

Downtown Dodge is just a small western town in the middle of country. It’s nice to see the small cemetery where outlaws and lawmen are buried. There are some small touristy things to see. There are good steak places to eat and great “real Mexican “ places to eat. The people are nice. Do NOT go over the speed limit. It’s a money maker for the town. I hope to get to see it someday when you can take extra time from a truck run. God bless!

The museum is pretty interesting there in Dodge City. In 2011 my 15 yr. old grandson(old west buff} really enjoyed it and even his 2 younger sisters found it interesting also.

Just wanted you to know that the ARBUCKLE PIES,are here in Oklahoma in the ARBUCKLE Mountains, lakes and Turner Falls.They make them for breakfast, lunch,dinner and dessert and are really good when you get them while they are hot I usually get a dozen 6apple&6cherry and a few pepperoni so if you are ever going to be going back to Texas or here in Oklahoma you should stop bye ARBUCKLE Fried Pie just west off I-35 south let me know and I'll meet up with you and buy you some for your family and you and Opie and Jack's well until the next one be careful

I used to deal with rates going up and down alot. And that was BEFORE fuel surcharges.. i used to charge more for loads going into California because their fuel was always $1-2 more due to fheir outrageous taxes. Its $3.26 a gallon for gas here in Northeast Wyoming but still over $5 in California

I watched a KZread video on Shield of shame’s channel that happened in Jacksonville St? last night where a cop shot a family dog because he was scared of the dog. Got to warn you I had a hard time sleeping last night after watching the video. I felt so bad for the two boys and their dad. They were just heart broken from the loss of their family pet.

Hey Kurt wow 90 degrees,here in Maryland we are at 56 but not to bad.

Where i am that 4.09 is actually 1.02 equivalent. Here truckers are paying over $2 a liter. Just so u know there are 4 liters in a US gallon. So you have vert cheap diesel.

Gotta love the w9 ... but it is one hell of a truck to clean ill give it that.. 3 hours usually when i start i cant stop ... and i always think, im throwing everything out.. and taking my pillows , 2 bags and a blanket ... then i come to my senses .. its honestly exhausting so i hear ya on one of them days. LoL
