The first video of yours that came across my feed was the Visiting the Most Suicidal Town in the World (Greenland). It was done with so much sensitivity and care. Then I went through your video list and watched another one where you traveled to Norway. If you keep showcasing humanity, love for the world & people and your filmmaking skills, you'll go far. Use that creativity to make content without the freedom that massive amounts of cash gives you. Thanks for opening up and giving us insight into your own personal story & struggles. Luke I've been watching you for years and you inspired me for a long time. You didn't get cancelled or do something horrible, you just stopped uploading consistently. Your fans are here, just keep uploading and be consistent and you will return to form. Invest some money or keep it in the bank, but limit rent to like 2-3k a month. You don't have to live frugally just not excessive.

Luke, recovering financially from being broke is tough but manageable - I know because I was $54 away from 0 back in 2018. You can do it and it will be a learning experience. Hold on tight, man. Us, your true subscribers, are with you

The beauty of making videos is that unlike money the skills you learn NEVER leave you. The knowledge you gain NEVER leaves you. You are an awesome story-teller with a very likeable camera presence, you understand the algorithm, you got this! Thing is, sometimes you need to find a compromise in order to survive. Financial literacy and right planning allows you to feel more free which results in a MUCH BETTER content. Don't go "all in" with "I don't care about money" mentality because you will achieve the opposite results not being able to support yourself. A brand deal, a video that follows KZread's interest is never a bad idea as long as you don't make people worse with it. You're awesome, good luck!

I was one of those people who unsubscribed during your break because I thought you quit but I'm so happy youtube recommended me your channel once again, LOVE your new content and I'm so glad you make your dreams come true!

You're very much not alone in this man. Our paths barely crossed back in 2015 era, but I can definitely see we've had a very similar trajectory. I think part of this is growing up, like you said, content pandering when you're 19/20 is the norm, cause we were dumb kids, but then you grow up and want to do your own thing. I just hope anyone else who's experiencing anything like this understands that their value does not come from views, money, or subscribers, because if you go deep enough, you can find reasons why anyone is successful. Family, good timing, or just dumb luck, and I know that for myself I really struggled for the past 4 years to understand that. "You are not your job, you're not how much money you have in the bank. You are not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet." (for all the problems of interpretation with Fight Club, this quote is still pretty good). Thanks for making this Luke
