@@dusitd2marketing I usually stay the Kempinksi and Address hotels when I'm in Dubai, but next time I come I will most certainly stay at your establishment for a couple nights! Loved the way you treated Luke, and the hotel looks very nice and clean, and the suite looked quite spacious btw I've stayed at Atlantis and did not have the greatest of experiences, especially for the price. (just fyi) to anyone looking for accommodations in Dubai

@@fawzee_em Yes & no. I'm quite comfortable with myself but others made my brain expect the worst of other people. Quite a difficult expectation to overwrite. That being said, propanolol is a life-saver for social anxiety for me.

I loved how nice the staff at the second hotel was! The kindness of people and the right amount of luxury makes it seem like a great place to stay. The second hotel tho, was really fancy. Great video!

The hotel business has taken a serious hit during the pandemic, especially in Dubai. A lot of them even converted their rooms to covid isolation patient rooms. So they’d be willing to let influencers stay for free, especially at this time.

honestly? you'd be surprised! I was in dubai a couple of weeks ago, JAM PACKED of people. Hotels prices are double than usual, because of Dubai expo, everyone is in Dubai. No hotel rooms available in JBR, Jumeirah area, a lot of airbnb places around the Marina ect...its superrr busy in Dubai!!

@@ImenBen12 I am from Dubai and I am a doctor. This was what happened to the hotels during the early pandemic and lockdown in 2020. But yes, there are a lot of visitors to UAE now due to Expo, and Covid is very well controlled now with barely 100 cases a day, and very high vaccination rates.

The difference between a dodgy first hotel and a rated second hotel is so different. I might choose to stay there if I ever visited Dubai. On the side note. Luke really did every hotel justice with his edits,depending on their stars ⭐️

between the 4 star and 5 star i rlly appreciate the 4 star one. imagine giving a whole suite for free and they even welcomed him.

I met people in UAE who've lived their for 40 years and they still rely on work visa (no job = no visa). They don't feel loyalty to UAE.

@@joshuathomas2012 I don't know what they're thinking or how they're justifying it. I live in Norway and I have equal rights and I am extremely loyal to Norway. I found it fascinating but not surprising the people there don't feel the same way about UAE.

Love the second hotel vibe, they where so nice

I will genuinely be interested to pay to brands and influencers who promote this way. So refreshing and transparent. Feels more authentic too

I'm traveling in in Guatemala right now and doing a similar thing. I'm reaching out to hostels everywhere asking if they need photography in exchange of free nights and it actually works amazing even without a huge Instagram following. Just around 800 followers, but great photography skills, so definitely a fun way to travel.

I stayed in Dusit D2 about a month ago for a week, suuuuch a lovely place with great staff. I did however leave my passport and car keys in the room which caused a problem. I returned a day later and their maintenance manager was away for the weekend so had to break into their own safe to retrieve them for me, felt so guilty 😅

*That second hotel staff was extremely cordial and helpful*

This shows how powerful a big following on social media can be and how easy you can use it to your advantage, which makes me question how easily you can misuse it and where the boundaries between misuse and use are! Lol

Well, he still got it. Luke still got it guys, and better. I love your storytelling man, so compelling. Kudos brother

I’ve seen a lot about entitled influencers expecting to get free meals and accommodations so this is kind of refreshing as a bit of insight as to why and how it can be done right.

i can tell u as a person who lives in dubai. no, i am not a spoiled brat but when we dont get to travel for some time my parents would take us to hotels. they're this good and not very expensive. tbh, we rarely go to hotels that r here (in dubai) bc its toooo hooot here, we'd prefer fujairah (it rains alot at a certain time of the year), or ras alkhaimah (idk how to spell those) all the hotels have very good service and are not very expensive. even the ones in dubai.
