I hate my table, So I did this ASMR woodworking

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hi! This is the continuation and final part of the video where I make a table for my apartment. You can see the first one at this link • $4000 it's Worth It | ...
It turned out to be a rather complex and interesting woodworking project, so that the epoxy resin would not sink, I created supporting joints in the form of swallow tails, and also strengthened cracks in the wood with them.
It turned out to be a very beautiful table made of American walnut, I'm sure you will be pleased to watch this video. Enjoy watching! #asmr #nomorewords #butterflytable

    The flow of colors and shapes in wood is like the ocean you can stare and get lost in it over and over. Like the flow of the ocean wood takes a corresponding shape on its edge which always attracts and keeps the eye. When using a rectangle (or near rectangle) proportions are very important. Beautiful finishes on beautiful wood on both sides. Wonder if you considered using the underside as the top.

    You sir have earned my like and sub. It’s a shame all the hard work is hidden beneath it. I know that’s how making things goes sometimes. I would have used those bow ties as templets and made bow ties all the way through the table and or go deeper with maybe a contrasting wood and left the epoxy for the bottom. Regardless it’s gorgeous! My opinion is just my opinion and Im definitely not trying to take away from your craft. Keep the videos coming!

  • @ERatiu
    @ERatiu8 ай бұрын

    One things that worries me is the frame on the underside. At 9:45, you made those holes to help with the expansion (realistically, they'll only help with the first 3 inches around side of the table, given that the perpendicular support beams almost go all the way through the table), but the big rectangle frame basically locks the whole table in place and doesn't really allow any movement. Unless you take showers in your livingroom, I.m sure its not gonna crack, but it's a good thing to look out for in the future
