Screw the MLB, I’m glad the Japanese culture has accepted Trevor and treats him with respect.

@@8E3T so acknowledging differences is dragging? Get out of here with that nonsense. Trevor is very different but it’s refreshing to see behind the scenes stuff and see how the athletes are behind the scenes. Go to your echo chamber if you don’t want to hear a different perspective.
I love the interactions between Trevor and his teammates there is a great level of respect and wholesomeness
I am Japanese and older than Mr. Bauer, but I have many good things to learn from Mr. Bauer. In addition to the value of Mr. Bauer's baseball player videos, there are many lessons learned from his mental and work attitudes.
Japanese pitchers usually tip their cap as a way to apologise for hitting the batter with a pitch. Western pitchers in Japan don't usually do that gesture. Trevor was somewhere in between on the chest fist tap. Was nice seeing a non-Japanese pitcher apologise.
@raishauntanner4206

i learned that from the movie “Mr. Baseball”. i wonder if bauer watched it to prepare for the culture shock

In Western culture tapping your chest like that means "my bad", an apology gesture.
As a dodger fan it pissed me off how the league treated Bauer. Glad to see him find love and success in Japan. Also love the momentum vids!
Its videos like that that remind me how much i respect and admire Japan.
The Eric Sim doll got me... 😂😂😂 I can't wait for the Momentum crew to show up in Japan!
He looks like he is having way more fun pitching in Japan...as much as I'd like to see him return one day (Tigers maybe Trev?), I wouldn't mind him staying and continue vlogging am really enjoying this content.

You can tell that you have found where you need to be Trevor. You can tell because it shows that you are at peace inside and out. Keep up the amazing work. There is nowhere to go but up. You are phenomenal my man.

Can you give me a summary of the episode? My internet isn’t good enough to load the vid :(
Trevor has the quality that the Japanese find likable. He’s just so cute and fun to watch. I'm not even a baseball fan but I look forward every week to his videos being released. Also, I like that this comments section is so wholesome with US fans. I watched a recent video still trying to mislead the American people like “He's hated in Japan” “The Japanese are offended by his sword celebration” etc. but the comments section was filled with people like here and were so protective. 👍

You list all the stats and the US media won't even acknowledge it because they want to see people fail. The negative PR spin that you got "demoted" was such BS, even after you corrected them they didn't do any retractions. Screw 'em. Growing up around baseball coaches and athletes...I'm like 99% certain, the reason MLB pitching coaches, and other coaches hate TB69 🤭 is because he probably knows more than them, and told them they were wrong, and they didn't like that. Hope to get your jersey when i visit Japan!
Thank you for Bauer for coming to Japan.
All the Pokémon gifts from the Japan fans are awesome. I really would like to get a pen pal from Japan to trade Pokémon cards with and attempt to learn some Japanese.
Japan seems so much better than MLB. He gets so many absolute 🔥🔥 gloves.
Mr. Bauer is so cute!(Kawaii)😻💕
Little known secret: The Japanese fans actually love the sword celebration because of how lame it is. Its a term in Japanese called "dasa-kawaii". It means its so lame that its cute. Keep making them check their swings, Trevor!

That's right. What a great team.
I would love for someone to explain to me why he needed to order spray paint and paint them instead of just simply ordering new cleats. Surely that’s something the organization could have helped with with lol. But hey I guess content. Side note, I was a huge fan when you asked if would be disrespectful spray painting your cleats in the parking garage. Really shows you are integrating into their culture very well. Lived in Japan for a year and that’s something I always had to be aware of, whether or not I was being rude.

Trevor is incredibly thrifty for someone making 10s of millions of dollars every year. His dollars also go a long way in Japan where the Yen is down against the dollar and inflation is nowhere near as bad as in the U.S. Its another one of the things I like about him.

i really enjoy these videos, makes me miss the days when I played ball. keep up the great work! Mr Bauer you've really peaked my interest in Japanese Baseball.
Instead of warning Trevor he would be fined for wearing his Bauer Outage logo like the MLB did, the BayStars proudly promote it. Even going as far as to sell his merch in their own shops. This is how you market your players, and the MLB/team owners should take note!
Sunday is Bauer day!
When Mr.Eric and his friends come to Japan, I would like them to challenge how much they can eat at Japanese Izakaya and yakiniku restaurant where you can drink and eat as much as you want for a fixed price. I hear that it is rare for foreigners to have fixed-price all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink alcoholic beverages at restaurants in Japan.

Don’t want this blog to end!
Made me happy to see the Japanese cultured players enjoying checking out the Yugioh card! I love collecting Yugioh cards
Trevor, there is also a huge bladesmith culture in Japan. Many beautifully designed knives. Yu Kurosaki and Takeshi Saji are popular.

You're doing so much for baseball right now. I'd love to see you keep this up anywhere you play, but if its the NPB i really hope ESPN jumps on how popular youre making it and lets us easily watch it in the US. New Momentum video idea: Eric wears a snorlax costume, Tosh is Ash and pitches baseballs that are painted as poke balls and Eric has to try and hit a dinger or something
11:04 I myself am Japanese, so I didn't realize it until I was told, but according to an overseas tour guide, Japanese people ask for the names of trees, plants, and flowers wherever they go. I guess that is why all the tree species are written down.
I love how trev just dresses up like a regular dude and doesnt flex his money.

I love watching your videos, Trevor!
Just a little tip. If you need to spray paint cleats or anything, make sure to get some clear coat too. This will protect the paint from chipping off and make it more durable. Start off with one light coat (doesn’t need to cover everything). And then do one or two more coats of paint to finish it off. Depending on the paint. Give about 5-15 minutes between each coat to give enough time to dry. Then just hit it with a coat or two of clear coat (matte or gloss should work depending on your preference). You can also use some sand paper and sand the cleats before you paint it. That’ll make the paint stick to cleats better. You can also try some light coats of white primer which can minimize color difference from the different tones originally on the cleat. Good work Bauer!🎉
I'm glad everything is going well for ya!!! After MLB dropped the ball, it's nice to see you succeed!!!
you need to put a finish on the shoes after you paint them - get a glossy clear coat - also a small heat gun will help dry everything faster
Good job brother .. keep it up and make the MLB look stupid making u look bad and my dodgers too of letting u go. Respect u since UCLA and every 5 strikeouts u get I’ll get a burger of what is your favorite here in Pasadena. 🍔🍺💪🙏

For a better and more durable spray paint job: Do several light coats, letting it dry to still slightly tacky between each coat. You're welcome Mr. Bauer.
I knew that green glove was a winner! Very nice.
it is apparent to me that Japan has fully embraced you and you're still an elite pitcher...what will you do come seasons end? will you take an offer to go play in America for some midwest non factor? is it better to be somewhere in The Show than what is clearly the pinnacle of professional baseball in the 21st century?
