I watched him play in Low A short season for Salem Kaizer. Against my Tri-City Dust Devils (fun fact Russell Wilson played for them)

Eric may be quite the character and turned up to 11 most times, but the GENUINE emotion after that 2 run single was great to see. Way to be King of JUCO.

I was at this game, got an opportunity to play catch with Tosh in right field, definitely a moment I won't be forgetting soon

Seeing these guys out there you can see how excited they are to be in the clubhouse, chatting it up on the field, the guys in this independent league don't even realize that if they don't make it any further than this, this will still be the best time of their life. I'm in my 30s now, I played in high school and I was on the JV team at my division 2 college and what I wouldn't do to be able to sign a one day and pitch a few innings again. The kids I coach in high school don't even realize they have their entire lives to work crappy jobs but their Time playing sports is limited and everyone looks back on that time fondly. Play as long as you can.
