The most safest and most efficient way to administer medication and stuff to any type of ranch animal great job dusty and you're staying safe at the same time 👍👍

Cora seemed 'HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY' today! Loved seeing her have a blast. The bison reacted like they got stung by a bee, except the boys...what a laugh I had.

Dusty if you get a chance check out Farmer Tyler ranch and see his automatic cow sprayer he put on his feed area so when they come in from pasture and go to eat they have to walk thru autosprayer…you have probably seen one already but if not it’s cool and does a great job…just a thought brother…peace…

Okay Cora needs a friend! Horses are actually herd animals. You could get two rescue retired pasture horses. There’s a rescue group here in Oklahoma always needing homes for older mares that aren’t rideable but are healthy to be pasture pets 💙💙💙

Very creative method to help medicate the Bison in a safe manner for all. So amazing seeing horse and dog running together like best buddies. Both have grown so much and are beautiful 😍

Cora is so living the good life .. and enjoying it very much ! Don’t think the little ball being shot at the Bison really bothered them !!! Lol. Hoss kicked up a leg , but was like really ! Thank you all for keeping the Bison healthy any way possible ! Eli was a little frozen when Big Joe come to get his camera time .. glad he’s helping and getting this wonderful experience ! Blessings to you all !!

Cora is absolutely gorgeous. She is growing into a beautiful horse. When I read your tagline I felt horrible thinking you had to shoot a bison. What a surprise that it was a medical necessity!

Big Joe, says come on dad. That didn't hurt it ticked. When i saw cora. I just cried. I want to ride a horse one last time. I'm 63 this is on my bucket list. Everything i had on my bucket list. Was a total fail. When i lived it Northwest part of Texas. My dad was a cowboy. That was his dream growing up. He broke horses at the age of 13. To help put food on the table. When my dad was in his 30's. He was on his horse. He was in a pasture to rope a calf. His saddle slipped. the horse fell on him. He was never able to ride again. When he was 55 he had a major heart attack. So everytime i see a horse. It just brings tears to my eyes. I miss my dad so much. And seeing horses it pulls on my heart strings really hard. Thank you sir for sharing your video's. I really enjoy them.

Dusty, you take care of your bison like any other. You do what you can for them.

My mother loved them as well. There's an Elk & Bison range about an hour from us in SW KY that we'd drive down to visit. We could drive through it as much as we wanted, but if we left, we'd have to pay to get back in. She loved it so much & I'm blessed I got to take her so often. Thank you for reminding me.

@@norabunyard5798 i am going to make a visit to the one here in pa , I feel close to my mom when I am there I took her a lot during the last 6 months of her life when she was diagnosed with cancer , I watch cross timber bison and think of her ,she would definitely love this to watch also

I think you had more fun than they did! but asides from that it's a short little burst hit and then that's it, I think a lot less "traumatic" than trying to spray them.

It never fails to amaze me when I see you getting so close to any of the bison! Big Joe is obviously a tough guy …. don’t think he even felt that. You work so hard to make sure these animals have everything they need .

I've noticed their backs and wondered how you could treat without putting them in a chute. I've always thought paint balls would be a great solution for problem people, but never thought about using the concept to treat animals. This is a great idea. I hope it works. I doubt it hurts much if at all. I've had some epic welts and bruises from paint balls and bison hide is far tougher than human skin. LOL In the corporate world we used to have "team building" paint ball wars. This seems humane compared to that. LOL

Cora is exquisite🐎 people don't realize that animal relationships are like those of humans in many respects... it's the relationship you build with your animals that assured their trust❤️

My sister-in-law raised bison and they got street sweeper brushes suspended between posts that had a chemical (desiel?) That the bison could walk under and rub on. I've also seen them mounted upright around a post that the bison could rub up against.

I can't believe how Cora looks now. She's blossomed into a beautiful horse it seems like overnight. I love to watch her running in the pasture.

Their skin is so tough they probably feels like a mosquito bite I don't think it really hurts them I think they're more shocked because something had them

That looks like a very effective solution for the flies if it works. Little to no reaction to the balls hitting them. That sprayer was way to hard to apply. Totally spooked all your bison. I hope that is effective to keep the flies away.

Oh, Dusty...thank YOU SOOOO MUCH for speaking to the wounds I've commented on, a few times!!! Interesting technique .... & yes, the cow got a bit of the Ivermectin on her shoulder, as the dosing system bounced off of her & also hit Hoss... s l o w m o t I o n showed it poofing on her shoulder/upper back area...kinda like shooting pool/billiards. Are the dosing system balls, plastic, Or ate they biodegradable? Glad they split in half...decreases chances of swallowing it whole & choking.

Hi love watching you with the Bison. I saw a show where they had a run for the cows to run through and they were spraying them to stop the flies. It might help you doing it that way. It seem to help the poor cows. Stay safe.

Cora was so happy to go for a run!🏇 What a gorgeous Horse too! I knew it was going to be treatment for the flies! It would be so awesome if you could get a topical treatment compounded so that it could be delivered in the same fashion. You’d have to shoot a little closer to the animal because the capsule has to be softer/easier to break and not injure further the wound. So long as it isn’t right on top of the back because you’d have to shoot just above the sore so it trickles down onto the wound.🕊🇨🇦🕊
