Skeezer actually came from cocaine/crack, because coke used to be called "ski" in the '70s and '80s... ski, of course, is in reference to snow skis. Cocaine was also called "snow," so it transitioned to "ski." So a skeezer was a street walker addicted to cocaine or crack who was willing to give you sexual favors in exchange for that ski. A lot of rappers in the '80s had "ski" in their names... i.e. Joeski Love and Lovebug Starski. Because they were advertising that they were DOPE. Dope is another name for drugs, of course. Coke is a drug. That's where it all came from... Shout out to Brother ?uestlove.

I remember this so well because I have the Cosby show collection and a lot of Yo MTV raps interviews on tape all the way down to the last episode.

This Ed Lover interview is just getting better and better. Look, youngin- new millennium rapper, THIS is what y’all are missing. Look at this brotha’s soul. Look at how he’s actually a “brotha”, not a ni66a like y’all. There’s still purity in him. The culture lives through. Can you not see that because your moms uterus had crack and alcohol in in it? Can you not see the difference??
